Zoltan Cheney has been doing this for 20+ years (Vince Neil Band) and before him Vicky Fox from Enuff-Z-Nuff are 2 that immediately come to mind doing this decades earlier. Hell....35 years ago my drummer was doing this!
Exactly! Like tbh right at this time only I decided to give this a listen since I thought that I’m not a fan of “SC” since 2019! I just stumbled upon this out of curiosity and I gotta say that I’m pretty impressed with this song since it’s so heart touching to say the least.
Ballads aren't generally my thing. This one seems competently put together. Like the other 2 singles better especially Under the Gun. Still can't wait for the new album. Except that album releasing will mean I'm closer to ending my vacation and going back to work :(

Tbh this song is pretty in which I was a huge fan of their 2013 era of pure hair metal! And after that I was totally disappointed as a fan when they turned to metalcore but this song shows that they are back on their rock n roll era.
MORE OR THIS! Santa Cruz had such a great sound with their first two albums. Refreshing and melodic. The riff heavy stuff I can live without.
