He is from my country, Uzbekistan which I am proud of. I was a student in France, at Bordeaux, and coincidentally he visited the city with his solo concert in 2014 (or 15), it was where I found out about him. I felt myself really happy attending his performance and being one of the hundreds enjoying every moment of it.
Behzod Abduraimov is absolutley amazing!!! I have listened and watched the greats perform since 1955. Gilels, Rubinstein, Horowitz, Serkin, and now Uchida,Barenboim, and Schiff. This young man is already a great one and will only become even greater with age and experience.
This is a magnificent performance, and easily one of the best. Great interpretation, fluid and clear. Please come over to the UK, and delight us with your superb playing!
He is so young, but so brilliant. Oh please help him to come to my city, Durban in South Africa, so I may hear him in the flesh. He deserves the largest bunch of roses.... So wonderful, thank you.
How lovely is this. The union between piano and orchestra! Mr Behzod opens with such passion, letting the music breath and the gives complete and total space for the orchestra to enter, but they are an extension of the piano, which is a concept that I had never previously seen. He clearly has mastered the passion as well as the score. Just going to give in to the experience and drift away with this beautiful music...
The pianist is good. But as a "fault", what about the enormous mistake at the end between piano and orchestra ? The violonist shows his perplexity... The pianist correct it in extremis, mercy to him.
I heard Behzod Abduraimov playing this piece with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra under Vassily Sinaisky in Symphony Hall. I confess that I had not heard of him. The performance was absolutely superb and the highlight of the concert. He played Liszt's La Campanella as an encore - the audience was stunned into total silence for several seconds. An absolutely extraordinary experience.
Intensely musical and musically intense! Lyrical, passionate, articulate, thundering and tender (the list goes on) - as needed. I believe Abduraimov is a rare and truly major talent!
I heard a solo recital by Abduraimov last week and it was truly most impressive. With all the hype in the press over Daniil Trifonov and Yuja Wang, both of whom are no doubt highly talented, it is hard to understand just how this remarkably gifted pianist has managed to stay under the radar all this time. He is at the least every bit their equal in talent and potential.
A great talent! He is different from others. Though his technique is brilliant, he can get a special sound of the instrument, wordily each little sound is different and has a meaning of its own, each finger says something new. It's not the old style performance, not the new, its a new way of talking to listeners.
He was one of the standout artists at La Roque D'Antheron, 2016. An amazing talent, with a gift for poetry, a command of keyboard colour, as well as phenomenal virtuosity; the like of which I have not heard since Andrei Gavrilov at his peak in the 1980s.
My girlfriend's daughter had a medical emergency the night of this concert. Given the choice of sitting in the waiting room or attending this fantastic concert....
Behzod is quite fabulous. A superb performance comparable to Gilels classic account with Cluytens. I would love to buy this performance on CD coupled with Rachmaninoffs 2nd or Rubinsteins 4th Piano Concerto.
Me gusta.

I love him! He came to my town's symphony and moved the audience. I rememeber we kept cheering for encore after encore lol I want him back
Nice. I’ve seen him in recital, he is superb.
How refreshing, this young pianist giving new life to an old masterpiece. He's a gift of the gods for us.
A great and safe technique. Abduraimov is definitely a promise. Excellent!

Breathtaking youthful energy and I'm loving the camera work for giving us the only angle we truly needed

Bravo, Behzod, and Saint-Sans and encore, and Nocturne by P. Tchaikovsky in c# minor. Your performance is remarkable.
My dad was his acupuncturist while he had tour breaks and stayed in Kansas. I've gone to several of his mini concerts at Park Place.
I saw him perform this tonight with the LA Philharmonic.
What a brilliant young man. Outstanding work
Brilliant...
WOW!!!!!! AMAZING TALENT.

I love his playing and I don't say it easily! Hope he'll go to the very top of pianists list. He is not playing like one his age. Wonderful indeed.

Bravo
This young pianist has an acute sense in interpreting rhythmic change.
Utterly remarkable.
Sublime !
Very underrated genius

Obsession with the way it should be played, well done

The turn around 4:30 is such a brilliant part of this piece. Unpredictable but inevitable in hindsight.
