Thank you for a beautiful tour of Greece, by watching your videos, it feels as if im also traveling and exploring this country with you. It's interesting to see the tourist spots, Greek architecture, the transportations and the local spots especially an economical place to eat, this video will be a great help for those planning to visit Geece.
Ugh, she kept saying just go to Athens for a day??! That is such a huge mistake!!!
You get to see so so soooo little by only visiting for a day!!
The amount of museums & galleries, eateries & restaurants & shopping alone should keep a visitor busy for days in Athens! You didn’t even get to see the coast (Vouliagmeni or Glufada), you didn’t get to see any of the nightlife (walking in the trendy Psirri area or relaxing at cafes in Plaka), you got zero time to visit world renowned sights (like the Acropolis) or museums (like the National Archeological museum, Acropolis museum, Benaki museum, Basil & Elise Goulandris museum or Hellenic Motor museum)… You got zero time to go enjoy a movie with English subtitles at the many outdoor roof cinemas like “Cine Paris”, you didn’t get to do a food tour or see the temple of Poseidon in Sounio… Instead you started the video in a part of town that all Greeks avoid like the plague (Omonia Square), which I guess if you are a tourist that doesn’t do their homework could end up checking out… Please devote more time and please try to avoid tourist traps that exist in the touristy section of town. You will discover more amazing food and experiences, and I say this with love, do not advise people to just visit for one day only one of the most ancient capitals of the world….
