Royal Agricultural Exhibition - The big guns are one their way!

Today was a quiet start to the 2024 Royal Agricultural Exhibition in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. However, expectations are high that this strictly agricultural show will be kicking off properly from Friday, with the arrival of the proverbial big guns in livestock farming bringing in their animals for competitive showing. Showgoers from among both South African agriculture and agriculture-supporting townies are expected to follow right behind. In the meantime, participants in the youth, small-stock, poultry and rabbit competitions are already on-site and getting their animals show-ready.
