    I thought Metanoia was the hardest route on the north face, it wasn't done again for 25 years. Never gonna forget you Jeff!!

    the russian belay is realy strange, does anyone why the design it like that? it is a piece of car?

      Neil climbed past the actual Russian belay (we only realised later on when looking at photos), and I guess Neil's such a hardcore guy I just thoughtt 'Christ if he can't do it then neither can I!" Looking back I should have tried, but I think we'd have ran out of food due to our casual speed (weather got very warm and nasty the next day)

      Right on! Getting back down safely is all that matters in the end anyways. If you ever need a partner for another attempt, I'm your man! I'll drop everything and fly over in a heartbeat! (I live in California, near Yosemite, so I would have to fly)
