I loved the canvas, and this is equally lovely. Very earthy , rich colors. I could see a renaissance queen with this embroidered on her raiment. I like how you explained the process of shrinking down the design from your larger sized canvas. Another winner!

I'm thinking now though that it might be more to my liking on the rock and may just give it a try. Still looks a bit tricky for me, but seeing it done on the rock gives me a bit more promise that I may be able to do it. You are magic embroidered with beauty, humor and humility! The music 🎶 in this video is exquisite. The tempo of the Art process- perfect. I love it when I become ‘absorbed’ that it becomes a meditation! Thank you! This Mandala design really speaks to me both on canvas and rock.

Gosh, not sure which one I like best....I normally really like, and actually prefer the larger project.....but this design converted down to the rock size so well....I might say the rock is my choice in this circumstance
I think it's personal preference. When I started I just went with what I could get here in my small town and the cheaper the price the better. So, I got use to that paint but must admit I probably struggled more than I needed to, LOL> Recently I've been buying DecoArt and really loving it. There's just so much to learn about your paint when dotting. I don't think it's as much about brand and prices as it is about consistency. You can doctor up cheap paint by thickening and thinning but it all needs to be thin enough to spread but thick enough to not run. Another subscriber used egg yolk as an example and I'd agree... the consistency of the yolk is what I aim for in paints. I haven't had any problems mixing up my paint brands. Just make sure they are all acrylic. You'll learn what works for you and what doesn't :) Hope this helps. Thank you Rachel :)
