It is quite hard to remove the metal cap at the bottom for Jaquar cartridge. It is a press fit. And when you remove the cap, be careful with the ceramic disks. After the metal cap is removed place a thick cloth on your working surface and tap the top of cartridge gently to push out the ceramic parts. If it falls on the ground or any hard surface, even the table, it will break. Thanks you for the video, only after I saw your video, I realized it is a press fit. But I broke one disk.

Sir, I tried to fix up my wash basin Jaquar tap as explained by you in your video. After removing top cap I tried to remove spindle assembly by using adjustable spanner but the nut is too tight with greenish hard particle coating on the threads.above .How to loosen this tight nut to remove spindle assembly to replace it with new one.
