I have the Korean f320S G2 and this method worked perfect. It did some crazy stuff on the pc when transfering the files to the phone but it worked. I used the official lollipop 5.0.1 kdz file. Thank you so much sir for posting this. You saved my butt. (This was written on my freshly unbricked LG G2)

Thanks for the information, was able to fix my phone myself following your video.
This saved my old G2 after a cyanogen brick. It was stuck in bootloop and couldnt get to shut off or get in recovery mode. It wordek after this.

Thank you very much! To find the right and latest firmware for your phone, download LG Phone on another phone and type in your IMEI. It will give you a link to the latest firmware so you can be sure it's the right one. Thank you very much, man!

network/carrier doesn't matter I guess...
try to put in download mode - maybe it will show some info.
it's better to start flashing with os 4.0, upon that you can flash recent version.

first of all - not sure if it's good idea to install android.6 on G2 - it's not official rom and could break the phone.
second there is no big difference between andro.5 and 6.
try next - first download Jellybean KDZ ROM then flash it with LG flash tool - it will not stuck at 2%, then Download Kitkat ROM and flash it, then you could download LOLLIPOP and flash it.
Do not start flashing with Lollipop Rom!

Put the phone in download mode (check on internet) , flash the phone using Rom for your model

look at timing 2:20 in video when I press cse flash, - on the left there is Normal flash button - it will not erase user data.

Your tutorial made me confident to fix it but let me ask something not related with the video title : i choose my country version in Flash Tool randomly (there was many version such as 10/20/30/A/B/E) and i found it in internet then actually it was Lollipop version. So i back the main issue again (before my accident stuck on LG Logo). So can i use the same method (using flash tool) to change other firmware to get exactly version i want such as kit kat 4.4.2.? I suddenly hate lollipop and try rom again :)
I didn't try to downgrade Lollipop on G2. You need to try it. Just use the Rom for your model. There are 2 types of roms - kdz & tot.

Hello friend, I have an LG G2 D806 and wanted to set you a rom KDZ Kit Kat (currently have Jelly Bean) did the whole procedure with Flash Tool and the telephone in Firmware Update. when give START to begin the process . absolutely nothing happens and the process is at 0% , I can disconnect ? some help?
Make sure drivers are installed and check device manager on PC when connect your phone

sometime I couldn't flash to the end, the process was interupting in the middle.
There are ways to flash stock Rom using .TOT or .kdz files.
search on xda forum for more info.

I had the same experience - not able to complete the flashing.

Hello my friend, can you plese inform if there is a tutorial which I can restore download mode? I just flashed a custom rom on my G2 D805 but I don't know how, I lost Recovery and Download mode. The good thing is that I can stil use normally the rom that I flashed. I just see solutions for people with non working phones, but the battery in this rom is looking like a countdown timer!!!!
