My listening is horrible, but this video I could understand mostly conversation even without subtitles, they speak so clear. Thanks for sharing this video!!! best regards from Brazil :)
I could understand about 80% and I am studying HSK2, even if I couldn't understand some words, because of context it could basically understand a lot, study and you will see that you can do anything, I am learning chinese by self-study too. However not all chinese speakers speak this way, don't you have more videos?
Positive Learner Believe me I used to think the same way when I started learning Chinese. Believe me just keep learning and after a few months you will understand almost everything. If you don't understand the vocabulary pinyin won't help as well.
If all Chinese would speak like this, it'd be soooo easy to understand them... :-)

Agree. The tempo is perfect. In most videos they usually speak too fast for me to understand but this is good for beginners like me ☺️

That's because they have a Taiwanese accent! You should go to Taiwan to learn Chinese! It's a lot nicer!
I now understand about 90% of what they said. And I am learning Chinese on my own. Nothing beats persistence!

Love it! Studied Mandarin 1982-1985 at UCD with Dr. Gibbs, Li Laoshi, Tao Liang, and others. A great program and lots of fun. :)
