She is stunning in every way. Her personality shines, her voice is unmatched, and don’t get me started on the songwriting… one of the “new age” greats.
She's a super star so humble and even holds great respect from the old country music. She's more like real country music not this crap they're trying to put out as country music. Thank you for being such a real deal and genuine country music artist. She's always true to herself and her fans. Keep on Mcbryde. You are going to really explode even more than you already have
She's so damn personal and at ease no matter where she is. Shes been a huge gain in country music. She's unbelievably grounded and so is her music. Also she has a wonderful sense of humor that also mirrors her music. She's a total bad ass!!!! I don't care for this new bunch of so called country music. She's a breath of fresh air. She's also very humble and absolutely deserved her induction to the Grand Old Opry!!! Thank you Mcbryde.
I lost my mother a year on July 26th and this song would have been one that she would have held close to her heart. She always left the light on in the kitchen and always told us to follow the light home. Thank you for this song, I feel her every time I hear this song as well as when I walk into my kitchen.
Makes me think of my grandma and mom, they always ended up in the kitchen and left a light on. We told each other I love you every time we saw each other and hung up on the phone. My God I miss them so much. I leave a light on, and this beautiful song just brings that all together. I love your music so very much Ashley, you always have a story. I have no one in my life anymore like my mama and grandma. I’m mostly on my own now. Your music helps heal me 🥺
What a neat lady! Loved how she talked about getting a pack of Marlboro lights & fav beer & talking w/her friend/relative/s in the kitchen! What an amazing name for a song and the idea behind it! 😊 I always have my light 💡 on in the kitchen & my little night lights, my mom always had her lights on in her kitchen & dining room (they we’re connected) .. and My mom has been gone since 2000~ she was literally a living Angel. My parents loved their country western music 🎶 and I’m so happy it’s made such a HUGE comeback since the 80’s~ I Love this song and I love Ashley too!! ❤
Shes amazing and such a humble person. She is more traditional than the crap they're putting out these days. She deserves everything wonderful that life has in store for her. I for one just really enjoy her as a person and an artist
She's Soo Awesome!! 🔥 🔥 🔥 ~1 of my fav songs!! Light On in kitchen 💖 ~Alot of my Aunt n my times of talking was in the kitchen 💖 unfortunately she passed 😢
She is an exceptional artist, truly! I love the notion of that song she wrote and how it is universal to a lot of people. I also love her calling it "the Voldemort year" that will be how I refer to it from now on haha!
The kitchen chair at the kitchen table, sometimes only liight was a candle warmly glowing...that has always been my place of comfort and free thought...even as I sit here listening..hmm...
I know what you mean. When folks came over to our house. They all ended up in in the kitchen. That is where my Mom and my sisters would be every Saturday and Sunday. For there bitch talks. Man I miss those days. You have another big hit. Great song.
I dated a guy. A musician that is left handed and he played a normal guitar upside down. Self taught. He was amazing. Pretty sure he probably still is.
She's from up around Hardy, AR. That's NE Arkansas. Her Momma she said is now in Fort Smith, AR which is western AR. Her dad's family is from around El Dorado, she said. My brother-in-law is from Hardy and used to watch her perform at a little bar there. Said she was damn good then
EVERYTIME she goes home she should go up to those who said she's a girl goin' nowhere and say "how do you like me know" and a big GO FUCK YOURSELF!!! Ashley is amazing and definitely got the last word on all those haters.
Yeah, I knew she was going somewhere from the 1st time I saw the album cover with her in her truck before I even heard her sing, I could just feel it, looking forward to the day I get to hear her live🤗
My GF and I were at the El Dorado show! I also dated Ashleys relative Temple right before she made it big. She told me she was gonna make it. Shes awesome!!
