I own a brand new M40i Handschalter and after having an auto Z4 M40i for two years prior, I'm delighted. I also owned and bought from new, MX-5ND Sport Recaro. Whilst I prefered the build and performance of the Z4, it didn't offer me the "fun factor" of the MX-5. Solution? A Z4 with manual gearbox. Your summary was in my opinon, spot on. Having owned 5 Bentley Conti GT's too, you must have been reading my mind when you gave that analogy. Good review and if anyone is sitting on the fence wanting a fun open top sports car, consider the Handschalter M40i from BMW.
Thank you for the kind words, glad you think we did the car justice. Congratulations on your new Handschalter. Especially in these colder months it really does seem like the most rounded option. / Sam
BMW make great cars and your video make this model even greater!
Thanks Micheal! 😄

I'd still personally go for a manual Supra, but that shade of green is really lovely...
What sways you towards the Toyota? Is it design, or more than that?
BMW IS AMAZING.🔥.
Props to them for making this
🔥🔥🔥🔥
ZF six speed????
Well, a ZF-based manual six-speed. Apparently, the gearbox uses a mixture of ZF parts to make it bespoke. Either way, it feels like a true BMW 'box 👌
Bro, you parked a very expensive BMW on mud?!
We'd do the same to a Rolls Royce if we could
Why review in the mud?
Right. That's a $70k car and dude parked it right over mud
