G'day Ian. Very simple solution, the only thing I would suggest is give a slight extra cutting edge on the Right side, which will leave the Back or the chuck side with a clean cut. Then do a face cut if Necessary on the next washer, Hex Bar if making nuts or spaces. O.D is only subject to your lathe or other requirements.
That is so simple it is brilliant ! would be great for making piston rings as well ! thanks for the great video and fantastic idea Ted !
