This is the first video I've seen of Thomas meeting with a non-speaking character, and it's very touching seeing the effort Minnie put into connecting without using words. This pair really seem like they're in their own shared space. As an autistic verbal person, having a little bit of interaction that doesn't require analyzing spoken language would be a welcome break once in a while 😶🤫❤
I feel like they're speaking their own language that not even they can hear. I only have a connection like that with my own husband. To be able to share something that special with someone you don't know well or even at all (I don't know how many times he's met or seen minnie so I don't know how well they know eachother, but I guarantee not as well as my partner of nearly 14 years and I do) is truly incredible.
In a world where's it's so hard for most people to get excited about anything, the joy & excitement that Thomas has is wonderful to see. Thank you Thomas for showing us how to be happy. Thomas's smile is contagious💕
