Love going out of Orange Beach for the overnight Tuna . It's kind of creepy to see the old rigs out there but the fishing is awesome whether it tuna or snapper. Come back with 50 pounds...and watching the flying fish...
Thanks! We are glad you enjoy them! This is not an area that tuna frequent very often, we were about 60 miles out and the closest tuna rig is 73 miles. These rigs are called the cut off rigs locally!
I’ve always called it the yello mama, we usually just tie up at nite and catch snapper and big grouper around 40 lbs , I had a pile of numbers just north of that rig to catch big Mingos
My buddy is bringing his big boat over to the island for the rodeo this year. My fam lives there. What rigs would you recommend no matter how far out or what reefs. I’ll shoot you my email if u wanna give me some tips on where to go
Hey brotha! Sounds like a good trip plan!! This trip was at the step rigs! It is hard to say for sure which rigs to go to because the rig that is good now might not be good then! You have to gauge where based on tide, water conditions, bait, ect! Best way to tell is find a distance (miles out) and then move from rig to rig until you find good bait and fish! If we roll up and drop down jigs or live bait and dont get hit in 15-20 min we leave!
Public spots and rigs in the gulf coast tend to get crowded especially on nice summer days like this. No issue at all when you have a good captain and knowledgeable boats around you. Everyone was catching and there were no issues! Knuckleheads that can't control their boat well or don't understand how to fish around other boats cause issues
@@Gobigorgohome1 didn't have any private numbers in that area and wanted to do some jigging!! We went to that area due reports of mahi which we spent about half the day looking for and finding! Not everyday offshore is on public numbers around boats but this particular day we have it a try with no issues
Want more offshore action? Check this out!!

epic channel, how can you find those rigs, I've been out that far but never saw one?
Thanks!! These specific rigs are cut off so they are not above the waterline. You need the coordinates and a good GPS to get there

Hey! Unfortunately we only offer land based shark trips at this time!
