Great stuff Eddie! Always wise to take extra caution when the weather turns on you. I have fond memories of "tent time" camping back in the 60's. My older sister had a nine transistor radio and at night we would pull in WLS FM out of Chicago and listen to rock and roll before going to sleep. We used a big canvas tent and smell of canvas can take me back to those days. Looking forward to the next one! Take care, Ossie
Hi Ossie its very easy to get lost up there apparently its rated as the hike most likely to get lost on in all of Britain. I like abit of tent time now and then its good not to have to run after people all the time. Them old tents weighted a ton lol. ATB Eddie.
Nice one Eddie, you can’t beat a bit of wet and windy weather, it’s why we love camping in the Great Outdoors. I love tent time, time to do nothing except drink tea and read a book, bliss. Cheers ⛺️
I enjoy walking through the mist but you don't get views lol but i've got a reason to get back to Wales. Tent time part of the wild camping rites of passage. Corrour on Monday and my fantastic cloud inversion morning vid up then too. Atb.
Nice one Eddie and shame about the wind and rain. Just back from a very long walk in the Gorm's to do a camp but it was so windy on the tops that I could hardly stand. My tent would have been shreaded and think even a Soulo would of been straining a bit so had to head down and back home. The joys of the wild camping. Atb
End to end Eddie whilst stretching in front of the screen. It looked like you had a good stretch of your own legs on this one - all the way to tent time. A good memory and trailer - look forward to that - Uncle George is back out to. All the best. Mark
Hi Mark i'm getting like me mate Andy Wardle out every week lol. Its not going to last though. Uncle George was amazing during the Glyders hike don't think i'd manage that at 70. Atb.
Looks like Wales greeted you with typical conditions Eddie .Which way did you go up the Glyders , not Tryfan was it 😳 Look forward to watching the footage, I was gutted I couldn’t make it up for the night. Hope you enjoyed yourselves 👍 cheers. Austin and Lucy.
2 Feet Forward Always enjoy getting out Austin pity I got no views of course but I actually enjoyed the poor weather after all this sun lol. Very otherworldly the rock formations creeping out of the mist.I think we went up the heather route Ged said.I think I'll try it again A&L take care.
