It turned out gorgeous! I'd say you nailed it with the beautiful finish, looks like real wood! The drawer pulls adds that extra pop perfectly! You always do amazing work! Love how you explain your technique! Awesome job! 😊❤
Your judgement is good. I like how you made the choices and show mistakes and then how you fix 'em. Free to valued by the buyer and all of us. Good teacher and Momma to that pup. Your husband was good to help in the pick up. Would have been hard for me to do it myself. Thsnk you. Those classes are working for you.
I have the matching tall boy dresser and was planning to finish it exactly the same way, even the hardware I ordered is almost identical. Will also be cutting the base with my jigsaw. I love your work, and I feel confident of my choices seeing how beautiful yours turned out!
Wow! You indeed came very close to your inspiration photo. It is like icing on the cake for 2024 makeovers… loved the hardware. And as far as investment goes, free is always welcomed. I trust you’ll sell this one quickly.
Thanks so much! I really loved how it turned out! And yes, this one was in such a great shape when I picked it up that it counts as FREE! Some free ones make me pay for them in sweat and time. 😊
I really enjoy that you start the journey from the beginning - where you pick up the furniture. I think that is a great place to start - it does make it more like a story. Good job there! Your teaching is also great, especially helping us out by showing mistakes and how to correct them. Your RetiqueIt technique was really superior! The drill will chase Luna away. Maybe store your hat next to it! 😂 the dresser is beautiful in the end. 🎉
Thank you! I actually enjoyed showing all behind the scenes. I’ll try to do that more. Haha Luna acts tough, but in reality she’s such very shy, and loves to crew…obviously. 😁

It turned out fabulously! I love the colors you chose. I’ve never seen a base piece come of so easily and the over-cuts disappeared completely. Great job.
Wow! I have done several of these EA small dressers. I have always painted that plastic top the same color as the body or left the top and painted the body. I am in awe that you got the top to match the raw body using Retique it. I can’t tell in the description which Retiqueit colors/peoducts you used. Do you mind telling me exactly what you used?
My dog, a golden retriever, is obsessed with my hat. She’ll steal it off my head when I’m sitting down putting on my boots! She wants to eat the Pom Pom!! 😂😂
It looks beautiful! Really really great! When it comes to redoing the base, I find that a 90° angle is problematic. It’s harder to do, and then it allows a look underneath the cabinet that shows the side rails. I feel like an angled cut is better. More like a 60° angle cut helps hide that underneath infrastructure and looks really cool. The other option is to bring your 90° cut in an inch or two on each side. Instead of putting it so far wide make it a little bit less wide of a new opening and that works too.
Great! I have the same dresser that I picked up from the dump! It had been rained on and looked like it was in a garage, sprayed w black on the front. A mess! I am still planning what to do with it... Your video was a great inspiration. Thank you!
Wow! I’m surprised you found such a piece in the dump! They’re solid and there are so many looks you can accomplish with them. Have fun with your project!
Haha yeah, after chewing one pair of leather shoes, a few towels and socks, she’s starting to get better. 😁 And I think you’ll find working with retique it kind of fun.
Wow, beautiful job. Question: do you tint your primer yourself by adding a bit of the Retique it to it? I have an end table with a laminate top and real wood sides that I am going to use retique it on, you tinting the primer that similar color is a good idea:)
The hardware staff at the counter where they mix paints can tint it for you in whatever color you want. Checkout my nightstand video, maybe 2 o 3 videos back, I showed exactly how I landed on this color.
That is stunning❤
A great transformation and upgrade. You made a very good and informative video. Best wishes for Christmas Alison
This is GORGEOUS!! You completely transformed this piece!! I hope that you make a HUGE PROFIT on this!! You deserve it!! ❤❤
Thank you! I hope so too! 😊

That came out great!
And what a good choice to cut legs into the toekick, that really brought it into the 21st century. ❤
Thanks so much, I really loved how the toekick turned out!😊

Thank you!! I was so glad it came off as easy as it did. It doesn’t happen often that the process goes this smooth. 😊
So gorgeous love that you ultered the base bottom . You gave it character 😊
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the base transformation!

The base made so much difference! Great job!
Thanks! I’m happy you agree.😊

Haha yes! I have mittens that have fur and Luna goes crazy, so funny. 😁

I'm so glad you liked it! 💖
Great job !!!!!!!!
The edge molding is common. That was produced most likely in vt Ethan Allen plants. The one in beecher falls vt is still open.
Very sleek and modern looking. 👍
Thank you, I'm glad you like the modern look!😊

Beautiful. Live watching your channel. You are an artist.
Thank you so much!! Glad you enjoyed it here, glad to have you!
Fantastic job! It looks so good!
Stunning! Would love to know your time, labor, and material costs and what you sell it for!
Thanks! I would say I spent 7 hours total. And maybe $50.00 in materials, including handles. I’m hoping I can make a profit of $450.00
❤ it!!! 😍
Thank you!
Your finished results are always spot on! Beautiful colors and great choice of hardware as well. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Love it so much! I still haven’t tried Re-tique it yet. P.s. So sorry about you pretty hat! Those doodles 🤪
Haha yeah, after chewing one pair of leather shoes, a few towels and socks, she’s starting to get better. 😁
And I think you’ll find working with retique it kind of fun.
Beautiful ❤
