Instead of using breadcrumbs, can you use crushed salt crackers instead? And also what about using a batter for the fish instead of the egg mixture is there any difference?

Which type of fish do you use?
@phibasuchiang any kind of big fish is preferable, but I used cuttlefish, which is available in my country ...
