Hey guys hope you enjoy this review of Truberbrook, today we've released two reviews at the same time due to embargoes clashing so don't forget to check out our other review of My Time at Portia: ruclips.net/video/hV1uMbIuSfI/видео.html
I'm definitely not ruling this game out from ever purchasing it. I really like the art style and when you showed handheld gameplay it looked amazing. I also was digging the art on the physical copy and the manual looked so cool. To be honest I'm happy to see a manual inside the case of any modern game. HOWEVER, it should know that this game is priced $10 higher for its physical copy than its digital.
Great review Juan. I love point and clicks especially for the switch and I’ll pick this one up too. But I agree with Juan that I’ll wait for a sale cause it’s a bit pricey.
If your a fan of point and click, you might want to give a go anyway, the art style is beautiful, and the story has a certain charm to it. Just play on PC, and buy it on sale.
Thanks for this review. It's on sale on the eshop now. But seeing how the controls could potentially frustrate me, I'll just pick it up on steam on a sale.
This is my type of game Juan! I love adventure games. It's funny isn't it, these new games fail to capture the magic that those older games had. The characters are so much more hollow. Bring back Rincewind!! Mark
@@SwitchWatch No man, Glen has this one I've been really enjoying My Time at Portia surprisingly! That's crazy that they show you when you can use items. Silly idea! Mark
Hi everyone , if you have a japanese account on switch , there is a demo for "BoxBoy+BoxGirl" , may be it can release for us but the japanese version has the English language :)
@@SwitchWatch I appreciate that point being made as well. I think it came through! To me however, this game was competing with a few others for my time and money, and the others came out stronger!
Not really worth 34£ in my opinion If it is on discount for 20£ or 15£ I think I'd buy it (If the gameplay was longer like 10 hours the price would be fair) Ja logisch 🦊💙
I wouldn't say the puzzles were too easy, I'd say some of them were entirely non-logical, and arcane and became tedious to solve. The graphics were perfect for a point and click, groundbreaking even. 2.5D excellence. The story and voice acting were hit and miss. Charming and a style big names like Seirra should copy, but as you say, some faults. Could have either leaned into the sci fi more, or the comedy more IMO, and for something all voice acted, the acting could have used some passion.

Man I had high hopes for this game..the art style reminded me of Coraline

Thanks for the review👍🏻
Always on the hunt for good point n click. Thanks for the warning here. Excellent review
No worries pal and you are always welcome.

Thanks for the review!
You are most welcome!
Thanks for the review Juan.
Most welcome as always
Those environments as top notch, so real
They do look stunning 👍😀

I wish this had a bit better gameplay and story cause the visual style is original and really sets it aside from other point and clicks.
Yeah the look of the game is Wallace and grommet esque
Finally, I have been waiting for this for a while, Next stop is: Assassin's Creed III Remastered and Among The Sleep, I'll be waiting.

Agreed m8! Those games back in the day had something about them which was missing in this. Have you played this one?

@@SwitchUpYt yea that was not my fav thing about this at all. I like to work it out.
SwitchWatch I just don’t know why they did that - seems very odd. Maybe if it was a selectable mode like an “easy mode” type deal. Mark
Great review, you have a new subscriber.
Thanks very much
Nice review... keep up the good work.....btw do you know if mk11 is realsed in April or may for Nintendo switch and will you be doing a review for it
I believe the digital version will be available in April while the physical will come in May, for the UK/EU.
@@SwitchWatch thanks very much
Was there ever an update for this?
$29.99 here.. I'll wait to purchase. Any other recommendation for point and click mysteries?

Great! Thank you. A no buy for me then, with unpolished gameplay and story. A shame 'cause the surface is intriguing!
Its unfortunate but still I enjoyed my time with it.

thanks for review
Most welcome buddy 👍😀
This game gave me Caroline vibes but I guess you can’t judge a game by its visuals
Indeed m8ty

Currently $2 on eshop.... id say thats a decent sale price lol
You should do a dragon ball hero’s review. That would be awesome
Ah bummer; didn’t know it was a point & click. Not for me. Shame because the setting looks really cool.
Setting is very cool but yes it's a point & click for sure
So much potential wasted due to rushing. Thanks for the review jusm
decent game Im almost at the end
Glad you enjoyed it buddy. For me it was missing those special ingredients to make it extra special.
Wish Seirra would do their games this way. Space Quest done with this style of 2.5D would be AMAZING.
hmmm bummed out lately, no action game reviews...
Yea I know pal, we can only review what's coming. I'm going to make it my mission to get an action game reviewed for you!
@@SwitchWatch Awesome thanks :)
This game cost 10$
Looks stunning but I'm all full up from point n clicks right now
Which ones your fav?
