OML can solo the Merc nodes in the SK trial at difficulty 11. I used completely unleveled characters with him on the second on just to soak an attack or two and ran through the node once he got going. G19 4Y3R with only the arena, cosmic crucible, and the illuminati +damage pact on.
I have been recently making some progress by focusing on Beta Ray Bill (5 shards at a time from crucible shop), Heimdall (Arena shop), Lokie (Arena Shop), Sylvie (Nexus Hard 2nd level), Hela (campaign). I sometimes switch out one character for Sif due to the defensive bonus. I am currently level 84 with only Beta Ray and Slyvie at level 84 with Heimdall getting close. I am still not confident enough to try the Darkest Dimensions Mythic node. My best team is Spider Society at 760k while X-treme X-men has 600k as my second best team. Though, I have been swapping Nightcrawler for my 2 diamond Captain America and using Nightcrawler with my 4 Out of Time members when fighting in war with decent success.
Any tips on getting red gear? I've been playing for like 2 years and barely have enough to get a couple characters up to G19. The turkey store helps, but getting enough gear to get Mephisto seems almost impossible...
Honestly just being in a good alliance, other than that it’s just the event stores have been a huge help if my alt account can get Mephisto you can too!

I feel that’s pretty important info for people. Since Mighty Avengers is War Offense, I’m gonna guess Absolute is Defense but I feel like that is important to know.
For a midgame player, you're on the mark in relation to setting a priority. There was a time I was caught up in the "must have new shiny character/team", but found that while unlocking them, I couldn't build them up due to lack of funds/materials and my earlier characters were 'mid' as well. Definitely focus on a particular game mode and build up characters for that. The new shiny characters will eventually be available via farmable methods. I missed out on OML (wasn't active for a while), but I hear how well he performs (everywhere), so that is my focus - building up the characters so I can get a high star-count OML when the event rolls around again. I'll have to see if you have any videos covering that.
I do have some OML trial videos on the channel that shows gameplay of unlocking, but using characters that were relevant the last time he came around though! But, yeah priorities are so important to keep yourself on task and not looking too far behind.
as of rn i’m stuck between coring for emma frost or coring for kahhori. I have the 4 pc astral and i don’t plan on building the new A-force team, so do i confirm the last toon of 1 full team or do i confirm 1 really good plug and play character😭
I would wait a few days, maybe check when the blog tables get updated for the Dec month long, because that would show how fast we can get Emma shards out of it! Apparently Scopely should be updating this soon, also I likely will do another video regarding the upcoming events this week.

I hear u 100% on prioritizing the newer toons/teams. Its the smartest play, along with building raid/DD toons/teams.. I'm slacking a bit with some of the older meta teams which I'll build up slowly & when needed.. My question is about Nightstalkers.. I have them built up enough to sim raids but are they really worth the resources & are they any good in other game modes like DD7/8, CC & War?? I literally don't use them outside raids unless there's any easy enough team to beat.. Just wanna kno if they're really worth beinging up to G19 & for DD7&8?
Honestly, I never took Nightstalkers up beyond what I needed for raids, and I left Oath and Man-Thing off the table on my main account so I'm not the best person to ask. Having new era stats they're decent but i still have 3-star so they're weak.
It's better to take Orchis. cabal has no value in DD7. Even if you take them, it will take so many attempts you will be sitting on global nodes like months
Honestly you should try the 5sar shadow king unlock. My annihilators are insanelly high, my illuminati is at an ok level but the real problem was the MFM. I thought I'd give it a shot and oh boy... OML just soloed the entirety of the nodes {literally it was 1v16 and he won }
I might give it a go. I think what might be holding me back is M4M but I have heard similar stories about OML so maybe I can do the D11. Lots of time to try anyways!
I'm wary of the "first new character on the team gets a release event" trend. I fully expect that Scopely is setting up that expectation to rug pull us with a switchup at some point, and Kahhori seems like a possible candidate for that.
DD8 is a completely different beast because it includes cosmic mythics like Mephisto and Skrull. There just isn't room for him I don't think when you want the likes of Thanos EG and Vahl as well with OML

It seems like from the envoy test footage that Ms Marvel is actually the best. Shes almost unkillable. She can 1v1 maxed Odin and time out the match with full health at 5red. Its insane.

I’ve been playing for 4 years and you got Mephisto in 9 months 😭 I still don’t have him, but I’m on the first mythic node Also I used shadow king for the legendary nodes, he’s okay, really high cool downs but the ult is really good for healing characters like green goblin who don’t heal on their own. His special was mid since it only ability blocks for 1 turn
I mean it's my 2nd account so take that in to account, I knew exactly what I was doing and how to achieve my goals. So it makes a big difference too when you have that experience.
Pull as in core for the characters? I am on the fence with Kahhori but may do so on my main account. I think she's got a lot of plug and play with that stupid speed bar spawn, but the other members I don't really see usage outside War.
@ just like Rogue with Xtreme. He get buffs/sustain from NC and forge. The occasional energy from Sunspots allows him to AoE with Ult/Sp often. (Which clears got Sentienal bots). In return his Sp gives the team off up to the team. I took him in 2nd run & cleared 2nd node in 3-4 attacks
For the filter system, why aren't you typing to find what you want? Clicking and searching is tedious. Type a few letters and select it from the list. The only exception is looking for anything "spider" related. Then you may need to type a few more letters.
when I'm not on my computer this is actually slower, since typing out on my phone is actually slower since it has to bring up the keyboard, then me searching it myself. And, I believe once I remember where everything is the navigation will be faster. I still dislike this over the old system.

Am level 92, been playing this game since july and honestly am struggling with gold and samething with i saw now reason to built up mercs and for scopley not to say anything was really frustrating because as a free to play we struggle to get gold and training mats and t4. Am also skipping A force dont see right now to persue them at all. Am barely in Dark Dimension 4 most of my characters are 70-80 with only few at 85 g16. Starting out i clearly wasted resources on the wrong characters when i was in the early game.
I took the two that we have to 100 g18. I haven’t touched the other A force because I wasn’t sure if they would be on par with the sinister 6 rework that we had.
Yeah, I'm skipping A-Force... don't have the cores to get everything, not super into war, no sentimental attachment to the characters. If I need them later... oh well I'll just do whatever it is that I'll need them for later rather then launch. No biggie.
I buy the passes, so realistically I can't spend all the turkeys without the orb without spending obscene amount of cores which I am not wanting to do.
My roster is similar to this one and I took a 5y 1r 7664 shadow king to DD7 node two (accidentally leveled basic to 7.) He was the second best legendary character behind OML. He was regularly pinging enemies for 800k~ damage a pop. Nodes would still be impossible without OML. I took Black Bolt, Omega Red, Doc Oc, Black Cat, OML, then Shadow King. Subbed out Doc Oc or BB for Shadow King.
I figured he'd be good in DD7, im just skeptical in DD8 because the lanes are a bit diff as its Cosmic & Legendary which then makes it a tougher selection process.
i will probably core for Kahhori and skip the rest. just use her plugin. maybe she will be good for dd9. i just hope they don't make a tower or pocket for them. new spotlight raid for the skipped teams lol
I agree, if its anyone its Kahhori but I am not convinced in the values of the others outside of War, but also when you're low on resources you gotta make cuts somewhere.
I’m 5 1/2 months in and I’m on the last node of DD7. I’ll have Mephisto any day now. I am not F2P. I bought 2 time skips I think it was lvl 95 and lvl 98. And I also started buying every pass about 3 months ago. So I’d say overall I’ve spent about $350-$400. The only way I was able to get him so fast was by prioritizing newer teams and DD teams. But that means my old teams are lacking horribly. My cabal, OOT, bifrost, Hive mind, and Pegasus are all like lvl 65. Even my Illuminati was lacking until a couple days ago I lvld them for shadow king. The time heists helped tremendously with catch up because it boosted my spider society, superior six, new avengers, secret defenders, and Mercs for money. If you got to the squads tab on the roster every team under bifrost I have put 0 resources into.

I made a lot of really bad investments in the beginning as well as poor recourse management. Once I started watching your videos I was able to proceed with a clear head and not let the fomo hit which means I was able to decide if I wanted to spend money or not and if so I was able to think about the long term benefits if doing so! I'm building Absolute A-Force to the moon. G19s lvl 100s ISO 3 Purples. Astral I'm building yes, but i still don't have the time to invest in the T4 resources for Astral. Plus they need awakening abilities. War i been enjoying and still get value of it. Astral getting value outside war is only Battleworld and BW is a joke. Shadow King is the only one I'll max T4s out on only because him and OML will live longer in DD7 and DD8 etc.
Didn't Oath (not Blade) get the F2P milestone, with the ability to unlock 100 shards? And the way Scopely seems to work, I suspect in order for you to unlock a specific new character in the future, you will require the entire A-Force team at some stage. It's just the way they roll - people not spending enough to unlock a team? Well, lets make them mandatory for an event...
Oath got one yes but the first person was Blade. Their alleged commitment of one character per team within 30 days. They have used war teams a lot for future events but the extent you actually need them built is another question.
never stay loyal to an alliance either. i remember leaving my first alliance early this year in march 2024 to go after meph when he was revealed. was at 48 million TCP when i left them. i am now 102 million TCP in 7 months time gap. looking up my old alliance is laughable because they only went up 5-10 million TCP and are still low. Don't let alliances hold you back. know your worth and you get what you're worth as rewards.

Being narrow in your red gear decisions and knowing what to nbuy helps. The turkey and candy store has been insane for red gear
I beat it on ftp alt in about a year, but started before the xp boost. You just have to focus and let other areas of the game suffer

Yeah I'm not personally diving in to this team much this patch I am going to save some resources for upcoming content in January+
Yeah, I'm skipping A-Force... don't have the cores to get everything, not super into war, no sentimental attachment to the characters. If I need them later... oh well I'll just do whatever it is that I'll need them for later rather then launch. No biggie.

I must have pulled 6 times 6rs on that mephesto about by now. Really sucks that we are getting elite 4 currency for those dupe orbs.
Tack that on to similar issues to the skrull stuff lol. You're fishing the 5% for a 7? Brave one! I called it quits at 6.
I buy the passes, so realistically I can't spend all the turkeys without the orb without spending obscene amount of cores which I am not wanting to do.
My roster is similar to this one and I took a 5y 1r 7664 shadow king to DD7 node two (accidentally leveled basic to 7.)
He was the second best legendary character behind OML. He was regularly pinging enemies for 800k~ damage a pop. Nodes would still be impossible without OML.
I took Black Bolt, Omega Red, Doc Oc, Black Cat, OML, then Shadow King. Subbed out Doc Oc or BB for Shadow King.
I figured he'd be good in DD7, im just skeptical in DD8 because the lanes are a bit diff as its Cosmic & Legendary which then makes it a tougher selection process.
i will probably core for Kahhori and skip the rest. just use her plugin. maybe she will be good for dd9. i just hope they don't make a tower or pocket for them. new spotlight raid for the skipped teams lol
I agree, if its anyone its Kahhori but I am not convinced in the values of the others outside of War, but also when you're low on resources you gotta make cuts somewhere.
I’m 5 1/2 months in and I’m on the last node of DD7. I’ll have Mephisto any day now. I am not F2P. I bought 2 time skips I think it was lvl 95 and lvl 98. And I also started buying every pass about 3 months ago. So I’d say overall I’ve spent about $350-$400. The only way I was able to get him so fast was by prioritizing newer teams and DD teams. But that means my old teams are lacking horribly. My cabal, OOT, bifrost, Hive mind, and Pegasus are all like lvl 65. Even my Illuminati was lacking until a couple days ago I lvld them for shadow king. The time heists helped tremendously with catch up because it boosted my spider society, superior six, new avengers, secret defenders, and Mercs for money. If you got to the squads tab on the roster every team under bifrost I have put 0 resources into.

@ I’ve been watching yours, Dorkys, and mobile gamers videos for about 3 months now and you all have helped tremendously! I made a lot of really bad investments in the beginning as well as poor recourse management. Once I started watching your videos I was able to proceed with a clear head and not let the fomo hit which means I was able to decide if I wanted to spend money or not and if so I was able to think about the long term benefits if doing so! Thank you for all the work you do Boilon! I wouldn’t have progressed this far without your videos that’s for sure!
I'm building Absolute A-Force to the moon. G19s lvl 100s ISO 3 Purples. Astral I'm building yes, but i still don't have the time to invest in the T4 resources for Astral. Plus they need awakening abilities. War i been enjoying and still get value of it. Astral getting value outside war is only Battleworld and BW is a joke. Shadow King is the only one I'll max T4s out on only because him and OML will live longer in DD7 and DD8 etc.

Didn't Oath (not Blade) get the F2P milestone, with the ability to unlock 100 shards? And the way Scopely seems to work, I suspect in order for you to unlock a specific new character in the future, you will require the entire A-Force team at some stage. It's just the way they roll - people not spending enough to unlock a team? Well, lets make them mandatory for an event...
Oath got one yes but the first person was Blade. Their alleged commitment of one character per team within 30 days. They have used war teams a lot for future events but the extent you actually need them built is another question.

never stay loyal to an alliance either. i remember leaving my first alliance early this year in march 2024 to go after meph when he was revealed. was at 48 million TCP when i left them. i am now 102 million TCP in 7 months time gap. looking up my old alliance is laughable because they only went up 5-10 million TCP and are still low. Don't let alliances hold you back. know your worth and you get what you're worth as rewards.
@BlazeNarutoShippuden yes, in my cluster we encourage people to move on to harder content by joining other alliances within the cluster.
