- Vid has a Windy Way Speedrun WR, Anarchy Arches 2 Speedrun WR, Python 3 lap WR, Python speedrun +0.02 run, Slap Happy speedrun WR, Routing Ideas, and then finally some random clips I had lying around. WRs are all from the 13th/14th/16th. Nothing I was very happy with, so I didn't feel like they were worth their own vids.

Dear RR community and whomever it may concern,
Please accept this letter as a formal notice of my resignation from my position as a "Mediocre Rocket Racer". My last working day is 5/18/2024, in which I have successfully completed all shifts scheduled for me.
I've been loving this game since week 2 (I was annoyed by psyonix ignoring Rocket League Week 1 lol) and have spent a STUPID amount of time playing, but I think I'm calling it here. I'm going on a backpacking trip in the UK/EU for the next 3 weeks, so it seemed like the right time to call it.
It's been great getting to talk with some of you, I'll try to pop my head in to comment sections, Reddit, or Discord every once in a while. Shoutout to everyone in SRO btw, they are a great group of people and the vids are always fire. GL Ewarz on the WR sweep (and the slowest retirement in the world), and GL SRRE on the prevention lol

i hope the best for you dude, a while back about a month and a half before the neon rush season dropped i discovered speedrun mode and felt in love with it, i was playing aero but i kinda got stuck so i searched the wr and it was you, i started learning and i kinda liked it, since then I've been grinding (not really lol) to be a better racer and try to compete against the top players (i believe that i currently have top 48 in jackrabbit speedrun mode, u take that as a w considering that im in champ, i haven't really played a lot of ranked lol) you are a true inspiration, love you bud (also this is irrelevant but i just beat SendForLife in ranked seaside farms, so suck it SendForLife, i totally didn't make 5 bug mistakes, all love tho)
I think that if rocket racing is still being played in a few years you will be remembered as one of the best and first players to actually stood out and keep the game evolving. It's hard to see another of the great ones go, but I totally understand and support your decision. I hope you do good in the future and everything is nice to you. Good luck, you'll be missed. ❤
btw maybe in the future some of the retired great ones back to play a tourney or something like that, just for the memories. That would be the best event in history of RR for sure.

Damn bro sad to see ya go. But I get it. We've all had games that we've docked way too many personal hours in to. I'm as noob as they come with RR, having just recently started bout 2 1/2 months ago. Long story longer, your vids were the first that I looked to for help in getting better. Just wanted to say I appreciate the time put in. I'm officially 10% from UNREAL. Owe a lot from your videos. How did you get this race in the against the clock mode ??
It's called Speedrun mode, they should be accessible when you choose rocket racing, instead of launching into Ranked you can choose maps under any of the Speedrun mode category

How do you do that start boost?
There are two variations, the simple one just involves jumping and air rolling forward while holding the thrusters. Once you reach around 500ish speed you flip back down to the ground, or you can do it slightly slower and not flip down.
The second variation is map dependent on whether it's faster than the previous technique. It involves doing the same motion, but you rotate either right (or left) once you are vertical, then you flip left (or right). This is more weird to get used to and has slightly different effects depending on your rotation, whether you are holding air roll still, etc, but if done right is about 0.1-0.2s faster than the other technique

Lol they were just sitting there anyways, so I chucked them in
