I subscribe because I want free access to the mySewnet Library designs and the latest updates to the software as they come out. But if those are not important to you, then I wouldn't subscribe. Buying the "boxed" version means the software is yours to keep.
If you are asking if the free version of the mySewnet Embroidery software lets you create designs, then the answer is really no. There is a free app for your phone that you can use in conjunction with the free version where can create very basic drawing type designs and send to your software or WiFi comparable machine but it isn’t much more than line drawing type designs.
Is it worth it to subscribe ? I never got the software training on my viking embroidery machine and I need help !
