I started Princess Silver because i was looking for a drama with a strong female lead. Those few minutes at the beginning catched my attention, but through the middle of the drama i started to get bored, specially when the male lead and the female lead were on screen (even though i liked Aarif Rahman in Empress of China). For some reason, i like Fu Chou better (i found him more much interesting that Wu You). But the one who took the cake was Rong Qi. After a while, i kept watching the drama because of him. Everytime he was on screen, i was really excited. I specially loved the last episodes because they feature him (he was Man Yao first love, the one person who wanted her happiness and love her the most in the world. His love was selfless, he did everything in his power to keep her safe, even sacrificing his blood, life and body. Bearing her hate, suffering in silence...). I think this is the first time i cried so much for a character (I thought Fucha Fuheng death was sad, dying to get the medicine for the woman he loved. At least she promised him to take care of him in the next life. I wish Man Yao had done the same). I'm still grieving his death. Rong Qi will be my favorite character forever.
Rong Qi: the most selfless character I have ever seen in a drama... He was consistent with his love for her from the very beginning, even if it meant painting him as a bad person in front of Rong Le. He suffered since birth but his heart has always remained pure eventhough he had no choice but to become a pawn to his mother's schemes just to protect the person he loves the most. She even hated him and never believed in him no matter what he did for her. He used his own blood, life, and even his dead body to protect her. How sad is that? I wish he had just at least a flaw or two, so my heart doesn't hurt like this... 😭😭😭
He will die in this drama! OMG! I will not watch. I cannot see him suffering. I just watched 'Ashes of Love'...already painful for him. No more can be taken right now! 'Love is Sweet' is comfortable.

I don't see any male actor superior to La Van Hy. He is a descendant of heaven. His acting is both hard and soft at the same time. Beautiful, charming, lovely, cold, strong,,, that's the perfect natural beauty of a fairy😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊
I cannot imagine what kind of mother that will choose to transfer the poison to her own child the moment he's born. Poor Rong Qi.. But still I think he doesn't want to hurt his own mother. He even explain everything to Wu You that he acknowledged the sins of his mother and for that he is willing to pay it with his life and hopefully that she may be forgiven. He even told Wu You that He and Rong Le's relationship has ended a long time ago and that he wishes them to be happy and stay in love with each other. And the last favor is to take care for the remaining survivors of Western Qi. I cannot imagine the heartache of Rong Qi :'( He was born to suffer and die miserably.. so sad... The other actors and actresses are all good. It is just Rong Qi's character is the most interesting for me. Princess Silver is a great drama though. Kudos to Luo Yunxi.. Hope to see you more in Chinese dramas (either traditional or modern.. YOU ARE AWESOME!)

I just finished this drama a few days ago and I cannot forget about rong qi and his sacrifice. For the sake of his lover he gave up his life for her. He is the most pitiful character ever in all the dramas I have watched.
He played such character too well, I was totally so shocked to find that rong qi is her first man, his husband n he sacrifices a lot, it's so suffering n painful fact to keep sending the wife off to other man n seeing her falling in love with another man... still protects her... till he died... I just cried so much, then in Ashes of love, his story is another sad one, cried from the moment he started to discover who he really were, from a nice guy turns out to fight for his right, again fiancee fall in love with another man... his brother... so sad.... I hope there's 2nd part where Runyu will find his true love... huhuhu...
The drama is “Princess Silver “. Rong Qi is the most miserable man in it. He is Rong Le(Man Yao)’s ex-boyfriend but still loves her. Rong Le has forgotten him cause of drinking the potion he gave. Because his mother forced him to use Rong Le to find the book and revenge Northern Realm. Formerly Rong Le was forced to take the poison the same as what Rong Qi was poisoned by for saving his life. He was poisoned when was born and keeps taking the medicine from then on, so his blood can antidote the poison. He knows Rong Le loves Wu You but she is dying. For accomplishing her love, he decides to transfuse all his blood into her. This is his expiation and love for her. I cried for him and thought only God will do this.
They should make a director cut version of this TV series. The production is actually good quality, acting from the casts are also not bad. When I started watching this I was thinking why is this underrated, well yeah I spotted the problem rather soon. Tbh, the most worth watching for were only scenes where Rong Qi in it. Just watch a bit here and there of the main leads interactions but watch all scenes of Rong Qi and you will get the essence of the story.
Why on earth in every single drama he doesn't get a happy ending , eg. Ashes of love , the fox screen and now princess silver like my heart breaks for him 😭

I feel sorry for Rong Qi and Fu Chou in this drama. Let's be serious though Wu You had it easy apart from having mommy and daddy issues. Rong Qi sacrificed a lot for his love bearing all her hate even when she didn't remember him. He loved her selflessly and made sure she was happy even at the cost of his life. Futhermore, let's not forget him using his body in his death to sit on the throne so that his mom doesn't suspect a thing while Rong le was still sleeping and the blood transfusion was happening. When I saw him sitting up there i kinda knew he was already dead and the eunuch had to lie that he wasn't speaking cause he lost his voice due to the illness. That made me cry so much. I found myself wanting to give Fu chou a hug during the drama. Being chased by your own father for 5 years, being used by other people, having to go through torture and in the end finding out that it was all a lie orchestrated by a woman who was out for revenge because of what his father has done and top it all off he wasn't even able to hold and get to know his daughter. These 2 went through a lot. Wu You didn't have to do shit though. I seriously wanted to hug Fu chou cause all he wanted was for someone to love him and understand him. Anyways thats my 2 cents on this series.

我刚刚看完 这部剧真的很 催泪 让我们明白亲人才是对你最好的人 不要因为贪婪 而失去了理智 伤害了最爱的人 对你好的人 无忧是好 他很爱容乐 但是有时有一点不信她 最爱 容乐的人 是 容齐 虽然他有背叛她 但是他才是真的救她的人
他也为了他母亲伤害过容乐 但也默默的帮容乐 最后他知道反正自己的时间也不多了 决定帮容乐最后一次 把容乐身上的毒引入自己身体 牺牲自己 让容乐带上健康的身体和命 勇敢的活下去

I feel sorry for Rong Qi and Fu Chou in this drama. Let's be serious though Wu You had it easy apart from having mommy and daddy issues. Rong Qi sacrificed a lot for his love bearing all her hate even when she didn't remember him. He loved her selflessly and made sure she was happy even at the cost of his life. Futhermore, let's not forget him using his body in his death to sit on the throne so that his mom doesn't suspect a thing while Rong le was still sleeping and the blood transfusion was happening. When I saw him sitting up there i kinda knew he was already dead and the eunuch had to lie that he wasn't speaking cause he lost his voice due to the illness. That made me cry so much.
I found myself wanting to give Fu chou a hug during the drama. Being chased by your own father for 5 years, being used by other people, having to go through torture and in the end finding out that it was all a lie orchestrated by a woman who was out for revenge because of what his father has done and top it all off he wasn't even able to hold and get to know his daughter. These 2 went through a lot. Wu You didn't have to do shit though. I seriously wanted to hug Fu chou cause all he wanted was for someone to love him and understand him. Anyways thats my 2 cents on this series.
