This hyper cooling head is so beautiful, really hoping find one for my cv12 too😊. Well ,one of the most crucial reasons for the lower „pinch compression shape“ on the sleeve is the fact that ABN style based engines really wants to run on a higher oil percentage than the ABC engines. As you know they want to run at at least 18% oil percentage! So ,oil have the property that it can‘t be compressed , so it this higher rate of oil on the abn ones will not only take place to give them the additional lubrification, but also will creating the needed compression during the running process. Many people back in days was complaining that these ABN suffers a lot of wear because their run these with an oil percentage which was intended for ABC sleeves like 9 to 12% 🫢 On the other hand it is due the compression effect of the oil the reason why it’s deadly to use higher oil content fuels like their be used on airplane or helicopters on actual ABC sleeved car engines ,because the additional compression would overload the piston !! ---- Like usual u made an exceptional job on this video👍
@@voneboy I really appreciate you for taking the time to write 💯 - Yeah OS wanted 18+% for all their engines back in the day. Today, I like to run 14-16% oil for my ABNs and for ABC break-ins. 18+% is a lot and can actually increase block temps but, that’s a story for a different day lol I glad that you enjoyed the vid and thank you for the support 🩷
@ Welcome👍 It‘s in fact a very complex task, man I‘m absolutely sure that we would have a nice time if we had the possibility to talk about all this stuff in person🤭 It’s too bad that the distance from our living places is so damn far. However ,I really enjoy to watch your reviews for „Nitroheads“ like me it’s in fact interesting 🙂 By the way,Actually I’m busy on a rebuild of an LRP Z.15 that I found on eBay 👌

Top video once again! I like how you compare similar engines and their parts! The fact that this carb is compatible with Toki engines was new to me and I'll try it on my Tamiya fs15lt engine, made by Toki. It would be nice to see if it would perform better with 2 needles carb =) Thanks for the video and your great work \m/
@@lyubennyagulov9012 Oh that’s awesome‼️ Im glad I could shed a little light on the carb topic 💯 - Yes, using a 10E on a 12 and 15 Toki engines is a great upgrade (Just make sure the carb neck size is compatible). I use the 10E on a few of my Toki engines and it not only allows for a proper tune (much better than a single needle carb situation) but, they also produce a bit more power Thanks again for all the support and taking the time to write on so many vids. Love the hyper heads. I used to like running the HPI ribbed pipe on savage, it was essentially a bigger Paris pipe. Some of the old OPS small blocks had bolt on carbs as well. Great vid as always!
@@NitroTalkwithTodd Thanks for taking the time to write Todd 💯 I’m glad you enjoyed the vid I wish we had a bigger variety of small blocks these days. - Back when OPS was around, we had a lot of options.
