I've tested several Gardevoir decks and this one is by far the best one for me. It fits perfectly my playing style. It speeds up the process and you hardly get stuck. Thanks for the video. Make a good use of my like because you deserve it.
I’ve been using Precious Trolly w/ Arven, and the win rate is so much higher. The turn 2 Gardevoir is so much more consistent, while getting the Pokémon that specifically counter the opponent’s plays turns the tide quite dramatically. The only time things get hairy is if Precious Trolly is prized, but Arven + Buddy-Buddy Poffin can make up for it.
I don't think the rant was in vain, it's totally valid and i agree with almost every point, the elo system they will implement for Arceus rank and above probably will be very good for the online play and matchmaking, but the grind to get there and everything that comes with it is so pointless, there should be a drop to Ultra ball rank as you said and not hard reset the ladder every 4 to 8 weeks
ya i think my biggest issue is how often the reset will happen, like I already dont always have the time to grind the ladder as it is lol now i got to do a longer climb way more often
I did cover the deck and yes pult can be a rough card to deal with but it is winnable if you are careful, you can also add a mimikyu into the deck and focus around that
try Gardevoir ex with grand tree pidgeot ex and raging bolt it works so well with the scream tail being an anchent and gives you loads of options for attacking
28:03 There a reason you didn't want to win a turn early? I know it didn't matter in that board state... but come on! Just discard an energy so the Roaring Moon dies instead of leaving it crippled.
They're obviously run by different groups, but it sure is silly that VGC matchmaking follows a pretty obvious reset structure of just bumping you down one rank on reset and you get right back up to MB within 10 games unless you get really unlucky, meanwhile TCGL is just a full reset nowadays I guess??? What's the point????? (I only really play VGC for reference, but I am definitely really interested in the TCG). From my perspective, it sounds like the platform is forcing smurfing, in a way, and, like, I think we can all agree smurfing is just bullying when it's intentional and boring otherwise. I guess smurfing isn't the right word, but it's a good enough word, probably.
In this case it’s not really smurfing since it’s not like we are on some other account trying to play at a lower elo but still it’s very annoying and I agree it’s more or less the same thing. Like I said in the video I wouldn’t really care if it put you to like ultra ball but going all the way down just to have to do it again in a month is a new grind that just isn’t really enjoyable
I swear Pokemon TCG NEEDS A BAN LIST. Just like Yu-Gi-Oh. Some cards are just disgusting and pretty OP. The meta doesn’t really fluctuate. If they make some cards 1 of or 2 of or ban some, then the game would shine even more. Decks that are obscure could finally see some light. New strategies would come out. Instead it is a flat meta
I disagree because rotation is already in Pokémon, I don’t think an added ban list is needed, also the game isn’t in a unbalanced spot. We see many different decks preforming well I think if an added ban list was a thing it would just add to the community calling for new bans every week that wouldn’t actually be helpful.
I think it’s a good card but in testing for me didn’t come up as much as I would want so I cut it for mountain since that came up more often but I don’t think moonlit is bad
Sometimes but not always, flutter is better when you want to have access to your own lumineon v and also munkidori you can’t have klefki. Plus flutter is just safer for match ups like iron thorns and LZ since they also need to also be in the active to matter. Klefki can be better to stop rotoms on the bench but I also run spirtomb for that. But honestly it’s still personal preference klefki is still a good choice.
IMO, Flutter and Klefki are both great. What *I* don't understand is folks running Spiritomb over Flutter. I get that Spiritomb doesn't need to be in the active, but it's taking up a slot in the deck to stop 2ish cards. I'd rather go with the higher ceiling of Flutter and Klefki than the super situational Spiritomb.
@@Flanagaming i really liked spirttomb to turn off rotom V vs zard when your going first since that sets them back a lot making them go second and they cant rotom but with this build and wanting to go second its not great having.
I think after the rotation gardevoir will suffer a lot unless they print some new support for the deck. But that’s not for another 2ish months so we will cross that bridge when we come to it
Could run Brilliant Blender ace spec and lean more on rare candy. Blender will let you drop 5 energy into the discard which will help make up for the loss of Kirlia and Radiant Ninja as far as loading up the discard with energy.
It did top but thats why I think its under rated, we are seeing it at a very low playrate, its proforming well but no one is really using it or talking about it.
@@professorgnome I’ve always seen it top but not really winning. I’ve found it just falls short. I’m not sure though, I used to run gardi a lot and thought it was best deck, but just keeps falling short. One of the most fun decks to play too. And I’m sad the sit kirlias will be gone

One of the many reasons why I wanna build it and I am
I tried this and had a match up against iron thorn ex with dragapult. It's a tough loss. I think you made a video about that deck yesterday?
