- Is Bitcoin Halal? In this video I review Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to answer if they are halal or haram. Many Bitcoin analysis's focus on Bitcoin only from one source of understanding and often confuse what Bitcoin really is, however using my knowledge of finance, tech, accounting and Islamic finance - I review Bitcoin from all angles and from a deep understanding of what bitcoin is and why it was made.
With the long term price prediction of Bitcoin increasing all the time, this video was important to make sure everyone has the right tools to assess if Bitcoin is shariah compliant or not. I also provide a Shariah checklist for other cryptocurrencies sych as Islamic Coin, so that you can purchase them with the right information.

Bro, I really need your perspective regarding a course in helping a close relative of mine.
My uncle had recently received conditional offers from Exeter, Newcastle and Leeds for a program named 'Banking and International Finance (MSc)'.
All of them have great accreditations and benefits shown on the website for prospective graduates.
Which one do you think is honestly the best option to choose from and please state your opinion (in terms of jobs, connectivity and much more)?
Salam, i was wondering if trading cryptocurrency (like you would trade in forex) would be halal? Or would it still be haram?
Salaam brother.
I wanted to know if this was permissible. I got a crypto wallet but i have been airdropped some coins and it looks like a meme coin and its worth a considerable amount. In fact i have been airdropped by several coins. These look like random small projects but the value of them in my wallet is considerable. So i was wondering if it is permissble for me to keep this money or would it be haram? Where could i get advice on this?
Jazak Allah Khair.
nah bro, you know the answer already
Can you trade crypto currencies if both the crypto fit the crypto screening requirements
Yeh you're exchanging currencies then. If you're trying to say trade for profit then no
@@ThatMuslimLifebtw for this video is the overall that investing into crypto currency for profit is allowed? As long as they fit the screening requirements
Is participating in airdrops permissible???
Are meme coins are allowed to invest in?
Depends on those screening criteria
@@ThatMuslimLifeI’ve heard people say they aren’t permissible to invest in as they revolve around hype

As a financial expert i can give you direct Islamic references that dictate that Bitcoin is mostly Haram and only few permitted uses for a "promissory note" weather its Physical or Digital.
i agree because you cant see the value. its just a number
i agree because you cant see the value. its just a number
@@tanvir2080that’s like saying money in your bank account is haram
If bitcoin is being debated as halal or haram then fiat money should be considered haram.
Very good point and there's a lot to talk about here. I'll just say one thing though, can you live by going into a shop and exchanging your labour eg sweeping floors for bread on a regular basis or bringing in something to exchange for it? Food for example which is required to live can only be bought by utility money.
But some day your labour will be exchanged for digital assets like bitcoins. Heck, even some shops accept cryptocurrency as payment.
Thanks, that was really helpful. Do you have any WhatsApp/ telegram accounts/channels
No but will be starting that/newsletter soon
