Genoveva Umeh is a Nigerian-British Actor, who is popularly known for starring as Timeyin in the Netflix Series Blood Sisters (2022) and Anna in Amazon Studios’ Original film Breath Of Life (2023).
In December 2023, @gen0vevaumeh made her cinema debut in theatres all over Nigeria as Testimony in the record-breaking film A Tribe Called Judah.
Genoveva’s other notable acting credits include Netflix’s first Nigerian Young Adult Series Far From Home and Showmax’s Original Drama Series Crime and Justice Lagos, both released in 2022, as well as MTV Shuga Naija Season 5, released in 2023. Tedx talks are world class and that’s exactly how you delivered it. I loved the allusion to little Miss Jocelyn Show and how that portraits of her acting were such inspiring snapshots for you. The tapestry of your acting journey, your decision to get into an actual acting class, the back and forth auditions, the huge expectation to be featured in Far From Home, your AMVCA moments and how all your escapades in the quest for a break into the entertainment industry are neatly woven is such great storytelling technique. Your story is largely akin to that of Thandie Newton’s and it’s so interesting to watch you tell it with lots of drama in between. Congratulations 🎈🍾🎊🎉 and keep going!!!
