Your channel was the best recommendation for me today Great arrangements, from both videogame pieces and classical pieces, loved your Bach performances Hoping for more videos
Outstanding! Hope you keep uploading more stuff in the future. Would love to hear more Castlevania, like the OST of Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge, or maybe some Metroid tracks, like Kraid's Lair would be awesome!
absolutely love all your vids. I was wondering, how do classical guitarists transpose songs like these, both the bass and melody into chords, they seem so incredibly complex i can't fathom it. i would like to know how i could practice something like that and where to find i guess a roadmap in terms of progress.
I got a bit more creative in this one versus my other arrangements. Some parts are direct transcription from the NES original, and there are a few spots, noticeably near the end, where I composed a bridge section. In other areas I made an interpretation of what chord would be appropriate in the empty space of the chiptune, or filled in gaps with additional scale notes. I rely on my music literacy, ear training, and fretboard knowledge to complete the arrangements, but luckily it can be approached one step at a time with practice. I teach my interested students these skills as well. Thanks for watching and for your great comment!
@@danoguitar1337 Thanks for the nice reply, though i guess most of this goes right over my head. i've mostly been having trouble with fretboard knowledge and it remains quite daunting.
@@rko2016 There's a lot to learn from where you are at, but that's all part of the fun - music can be a lifelong process. Private lessons are a good option as well as looking for online resources. I teach over Zoom if you get curious!
@@danoguitar1337 that's a really nice offer, but i just don't have the money. Besides, i don't think at my level i can really gain much from professional guidance since most of my issues right now can be fixed with much more practice. Maybe someday...

Awesome!! I love it!!!
Loving the little guitar slaps. Makes it seem al the more effortless for you to play, although it's really impressive!
Thank you! This was a thought provoking point you made; sometimes the complex movements are harder to learn but come out easy if properly assimilated.
Wow this is so good I love all the percussive hits
