I had a friend who got a puppy and it wouldn't stop attacking everyone, they took it back to the rescue center and eventually they put it down because it wouldn't stop attacking. It's a bit traumatic, but if no human wants a dog/cat it's going to be killed.

Trump, who doesn't like dogs, has on multiple times used "like a dog" similes, often where they don't fit, e.g., "died like a dog, fired like a dog" Although it would probably be in the back of her mind, I don't think it is Trump derangement syndrome to suggest Noem might possibly be pandering to Trump's hatred of dogs, in thinking this makes a good story to bring up. And her stuff about Kim Jong Un is just nutz.

The dog attacked animals and killed animals along with attacked and bit a person. 18 months is Is not a puppy.… once a dog has done that. The only option is to do what she did. It’s very common in rule communities. She did the right thing because you don’t give that dog to another person and allow that dog to have another opportunity to either bite and kill another animal or bite a person… what is the issue of a meeting with North Korea? The dog was only 14 months old, so it was a puppy. And it didn't bite a person. And even if it had, it's still a puppy. Noem wanted it to kill birds, and being of this breed that's what they do. And no, it's NOT common in rural communities. That's a falsehood. There have been many people who live in rural areas who've spoken up and said what Noem did is NOT what rural people do.
There are many options if a dog has a problem behavior. You should read up on it.

As a person who grew up with a working brain, you should all know that we don’t shoot puppies in the face. Be a big boy, take a timeout, & call a rescue or humane society to re-home the dog. Her book is full of lies and the 14 month old dog was not dangerous.
