Good they can remove the resources for rocket racing an put them back into live events for br.
I know a guy who worked at Epic while Rocket Racing was in development, he told us how it used to be much closer in style to the movie Red Line, with the same stretching boost animation style and much more, but Epic slowly neutered it into what it became, with a lot of the original team leaving because of it
I loved Rocket Racing but it got so stale and boring and constantly felt like I would race perfectly and still come in fifth, then lose like 20% in ranked for coming fifth, plus only getting like 3% for winning a game, plus all the glitches where you randomly turn around and lose momentum, it was just poorly executed and very mismanaged

Save the world is literally their most developed, detailed and complete game mode out of all of them. It certainly deserves more attention.
Agreed, I'm playing Save The World more than BR or any of the other modes. I do play BR ofc and some festival but that's about it.

The main reason I don't play rocket racing much after the first 2 weeks of its new season is because once you hit elite rank its almost impossible to get to the next rank. I've been stuck at elite for what seems like forever now. If it were easier to rank up I'd still be playing it.

I think BR modes bring players into Fortnite and the other modes are only played for xp. But yeah BR is the most popular out of any mode

I think there is a very simple way to bring a lot of players into Rocket Racing.
Let it progress the Rocket Pass.
If Epic wants to have the 2 games be that integrated into one another, then they should let the gameplay in Rocket Racing actually earn you rewards that can be used in it, instead of locking everything away within a different game that has a wildly different gameplay style and audience appeal.
i read a comment when a racing game collab was found in the files they thought it was gonna be more similar to a kart game like mario kart or crash racing and i think that would be an awesome idea instead. imagining your skin in a little kart is already funny
They could do car-related collab seasons for it and add powerups from those series. Speed Racer could add shredder tires, jump jets, other combat-related things. They could also do a Fast & Furious season, or Initial D.

Epic has one bug they haven't fixed the past 3 seasons, alot of peoples creative mode is glitches when joining they get the 999? Glitch and it leads to them not being able to play the game mode

Something that I think could have helped Rocket Racing is if they had a Grand Prix mode where you could earn certain rewards based on your placing.

Apparently them changing it to October 1st was a mistake but they corrected it within 3 hours. I have no idea why people are ignoring the July 23 date when the second change was made 3 days ago.

What you want for save the world is to be able to get founders status. Founders have the ability to earn v-bucks in save the world.
It’ll be cool for rocket racing to have a racing pass that u can unlock vehicles, wheels or even boosts.

I found rocket racing hard tbh, I couldnt get passed place 8, idk why but I was just so bad at it. But yeah, the problem is that its just how it is, it has no other content. Epic needs to learn that catering to the very very few sweats who take things competitively, it will not work out. We've seen it with the latest update to BR where they nerfed cars significantly, well it obviously didnt tank BR and changed it significantly, but they defeated the whole purpose and theme of the season.
When will they fix the game? I lag even though I'm on a good PC. My FPS was lower than last season.

I enjoy the rocket racing mode I think they just need to make a more casual racing mode making like a Mario kart like mode where they can add all kinds of crazy items and power ups to keep things fun but than also the more serious racing mode they have now

I REALLY what STW to receive more love from the Devs. Like to see them turn the Maps of Stonewood, Plankerton, Canny and Twine themselves into their very own BR size maps instead of these small Creative World Size Maps. This would allow the use of Cars, do multiple Main focused missions in a single go without heading back to Homebase.
Example: We start at Homebase(Tutorial Area) we then can either run, walk, ride pets(New Pet Station in Homebase to keep tamed pets), hoverboard or drive cars(New Garage Option allows us to deliver/drive/build/repair/upgrade STW(Starting Cars) and BR(Advanced Cars) cars to areas that show on the map of Main Mission like to the defend the Atlas go there complete it then drive to the city and do rescue the survivors mission. Event Areas like SSD, Ventures and any quests that have Unique Areas Dr. Vinderman Mansion, Storm King and such will remain the same. There would be new Events like Multiple Stormcircles(Find a Stormcircle shield generator and wait out the storm) Evacuation Balloon(quick way to head back to Homebase, Hunts(gather food for Homebase grants Survivor/Hero/Pet XP), Destroy the Encampments(Updated Spawns Strong Mistpods only takes pickaxe damage Reward Good amount of Training Manuals, if Hatches but also boss is defeat you get less manual but more loot and gold) Resupply(Updated will new objective to let plays get Weapon Blueprint and Trap Schematics). Also Bosses(Updated gives Training Manuals) All In-Game Sources of Manuals/Blueprints/Schematics (Expedition Excluded) can only be obtained ONCE a day and resets weekly.
Man we need team death match modes or more emphasis on the control mode, the control mode is great, but not many people is playing it.
Hope the Metallica skin is a creature or original design that represents the band and its image as a whole rather than an individual member.

Rocket Racing Is Due Date is Next Month
Rocket Racing should have used the items from Rocket League's Rumble mode. It was all there to easily set up a great arcade racer, but for whatever reason, it seems like they got advice from EA because it just feels like a generic NFS Unbound
While I do love rocket racing, I don't play it much due to the lack of xp quests. They have to make it worth playing if they want people playing it, though I would prefer them to focus on battle royale.
Yeah I honestly thought when rocket racing came we would be racing in little cars exactly like all those mini vehicle emotes we got. Frankly it's correct that would've been way better.

In creative however im regular ping (rarely 150, but I just restart and im good)

Rocket racing should be based more off Mario cart and Lego Fortnite should be set up like animal crossing. Player count would be up for both modes if so.
Rocket Racing hurts me because I want to enjoy it, I want to grind it out but the XP gain and repetitiveness with the sameish maps just makes it bad at least to me.

For the rocket racing i still thing it was too rushed
Getting to release all 3 modes on the same season (Chapter 5 season 1) even though they had maybe YEARS worth of time but it still lacks the proper gameplay support
Its inconsistent and annoying with the movement resembling no other games
I don’t think this is an issue for people who have never played rocket league but just because this mode was advertised based on that game I expected the same level of polish with respect to driving. To me it just felt like a cheap copy trying to capitalise on the popularity of original game, the driving genuinely felt cheap when compared to the weight I felt in rocket league, if it had the same quality the game mode would have felt a million times better. Also now that it was mentioned if they went mario kart route then also the game would have been much more fun than just racing around different maps.

The problem with Rocket Racing is that it just has no content. Other racing games have things like grand prix modes, globally ranked time trials, different cars, different drivers, actually difficult course design instead of just red boxes everywhere, unranked random multiplayer, minigame modes like infected or balloon battle, and literally none of this can be done with Rocket Racing in its current state SOLELY BECAUSE OF THEIR MONETIZATION PLAN.
It was doomed to fail from the start, and every dollar spent developing it should've gone to finishing the STW storyline or another campaign mode based on BR's storyline.
