Wow. I’ve watched so many lessons and masterclasses explaining how to practice coloratura, and I’ve never heard anyone explain it like you did. You are so fantastic! You made it look easy and it gives me hope. Now I’m excited to practice and learn more. BRAVA! Thank you so much❣️❣️

This has been so useful. This is one of my favourite parts from the messiah you are using to describe. It makes it much easier for me to understand.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! This needs to be taught more often. There is not a lot of really good explanation available and you totally nailed it. :)

Thanks for sharing. Could you please elaborate about the mechanism that creates separation In fast coloraturas? Does this happen with the diaphragm or something else? (While keeping the narrow space as you described, what is doing articulation and preventing from the coloraturas from being a glissando) ?

    gran donna e magister...

really love the teachers voice. Even when she talks you can tell her voice is very well educated. but I don't know why would she celebrate her students coloratura. sound is breathy, not good, not beautiful, out of tune for the whole thing. And I don't say this in a mean way. Honesty and sincerity is necessary to improve your craft. assesing what you have mastered and what you haven't so you can learn and practice what is missing from your craft. Also this is a first: an italian teaching how to sing like a mosquito... what do you know! if tebaldi was alive...

This is a technique for being a ventriloquist and not for being a singer. What a stiff and purposeless joint. How about plastering the girl's mouth right away?

@@maximillian6222 I am interested to know your thoughts. I don't know where to turn for healthy/correct advice.. it's likely far too late for anything beyond my personal pleasure but I'd like to sound as close as possible to old school singers.. Thanks..
