Not really, I'd like to point out that Sweet Home for the Famicom came out in 1989 (three years before AITD) and pioneered a whole bunch of widely used mechanics, including the classic Resident Evil door loading screen, inventory management, squads/team-ups and even permadeath and QTE sequences. The best remake in history? Sorry but, I'd give that honor to the original resident evil remake. That's a remake that rebuilt everything from the ground up, kept the core gameplay the same, didn't take anything out, added new areas, new weapons, new monsters. Resident evil is the best remake.
Glad to see this game finally get the remake it deserves, it was basically The Godfather of Survival Horror and laid the foundation for the franchises we all know and love today.

Understandable, but kinda sad they didnt try to re-create the camera angles from the first game instead of having the "Behind the shoulder" look, heaven help us there hasn´t been enough of those already.
There is no reason for this to be bad. It looks like they’re doing the same thing Resident Evil did with RE7. Please don’t mess this up. This is a worthy franchise to return.
