I’m thrilled to see the horde go so well against this base. It didn’t look like it was a hard fight at all. Congratulations on kicking the hordes ass! Despite the hole that they were digging lol.
When you have Iron Gut maxed with 18 hour days if you start a horde night just before it starts drink three of each consumables and those will last the whole night - you don't have to stop killing to drink that stuff. So for example I'm heavy on machine guns so I eat Sham chowder for +1 fortitude, three each of Recog, vitamins and learnin' elixirs. Those last the whole night.
I typically will have 4 or 5 M-60's with drum mags - that's 600 rounds with 5 and then when I run them all out I toss a Molotov - reload when they're burning so I'm still doing damage when I'm reloading.
Or I'll reload my favorite one while there's a lull in the action - even if I only used 20 or 30 rounds. That's a really great habit to get into with this game - reload and reload and reload whenever you can.
@@GenosisYeah I like to keep track of how many I kill for the whole night. If you're doing anything other than killing them off you won't rack up a massive kill count. lol! The record I had was just over 1200. But since then they changed how fast and how far away they'll spawn in - so you can get up around 650-700 now. Used to be you could kill them as fast as possible and their spawn in point would move up real close to where you were - could see them spawning in super close.
Thanks! Love this feature with Epidemic sound that uses AI to customize the length of the song, make it loopable, etc. Lets me fit in music exactly where I need it
Perhaps put the solid roller doors on the side where you need to access to repair the electric fences, also that red light above the generators sure does seem like a good idea 😅
I think you missed one of the electric fence posts when you switched relays. Right before you got shocked I'm like did he turn the power off? Then you provided the answer in a very funny way. Lol
Consider extending the roof of your tunnel so it is flush with the outside and then extending the walls to match. Less resoures used, still some additional protection.
Could you maybe build a vertical shaft from the back of your base, up to a "bunker" full of turrets to deal with the "vultures"? If you close it off tightly with vault doors/hatches, I _think_ that will keep zombies from being tempted to go in that way. --- I had an idea about building a larger base inside a mountain, which would essentially be free-floating in a large hollowed out cavern and supported by pillars. It would have a pyramid-shaped roof, to make any zombies who tried to dig in from above fall off and have to come back up through the main kill box. I don't know if that would work, of course.

One thing I’d love from the District Zero mod would be maxed Robotics Inventor would allow you to craft some of the Robot models as companions 🙃 (FYI I’ve not played the mod yet myself)

Oh yes, the base held up exceptionally well. The outside drones seem to be the only concern. I will have to setup some deterrents

See what you do is you stop and start with killing them so you're not getting as many as possible.
I look at horde nights as the bonus round. lol!
