    FEAR GOD NOT MEN.
“OBEY GOD AND LEAVE ALL THE CONSEQUENCES TO HIM.” - CS
It’s amazing to see how God worked through scriptures when ppl were persecuted , HIS JUSTICE NEVER FAILED AND NEVER WILL . Even though He is merciful and gives time to repentance, He is also JUST and His plans and purpose for each one of us will be fulfilled no matter what.

I fear for my future. After I’ve said no to the enemies offers in this world I didn’t know where to go from there. Because of that decision I fear what man will think of me. My position and status. My “successfulness” in this life. When I say man I’m talking about close family and friends. At the core that’s my pride, and a lack of faith in God in terms of having good things in store for me.
Jesus is coming!! Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! I made this channel because I felt guilty for not witnessing enough, I’d appreciate any kind of support. Don’t give up! God loves you so much! So do I. The Lord bless you!!

God Fearing Men - Fear God Not Man - Steve Farrar
      ruclips.net/video/AblGeHhK1XY/видео.html
      My notes from the video:
You do not need the fear of man, you need the fear of God. We need the fear of God. We are fighting off the fear of man, what we need is the fear of God.
The temptation is to live in the fear of men, in the fear of the mob, to live in the fear of the media and they will destroy you, it won't blink an eye.
      Proverbs 29:25
      Deuteronomy 10 verses 12-13
      Mathew 10:28
My God shall supply all my needs according to his riches and glory. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things context food, clothing, shelter, all these things be out of them to you. God's words.
Do you believe it or do you believe that man has the power to keep God from blessing?
If you want our God and God says "I'll bless you if you honor me. Those who honor me then will I honor."
But do you believe that man can keep God from blessing you if you do what's right?
Courageously confront your fear of men. Acts 5 says We must obey God rather than man.
Psalm 90 You have been our dwelling place in all generations
      Psalm 139:16
If you want to find meaning in life you don't begin with yourself. You begin with God. Oh Lord, you searched me and you know me, you know when I sit down and when I rise up. You understand my thoughts from afar.
      Psalm 31 14-15
      Ecclesiastes 7
      Psalm 138:8
Lord direct my steps, whether it be good times or bad times. You are my strength, you are my guide.
Psalm 142:3 - Anxious thoughts multiply
Jesus said "Don't worry about tomorrow, each day has enough trouble of its own". You don't need to worry about it. You just need to be concerned about today. If you take on all about the future, Jesus said, don't take it on. You cannot handle it. You are not equipped to handle it. It will break you. You can only take so many problems and when you go out in the future and take all the potential problems and say here's the problem; you never just have one anxious thought, do you? You never stop with one anxious thoughts, they multiply.
Psalm 142:3 When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, your consolations delight my soul.
Obadiah Segwick, old puritan pastor said " If you are waiting in God, there are three things that you should do:
      1) Remember in your life, if you are waiting on God and you are desperate, here is number 1: God will take time, but God will not waste time. God will take time in your life but he will not waste the time of your life.
But you are waiting and nothing has happened, here is a verse"
Isaiah 64:4 No eye has seen a God like thee who works for those who wait for him.
If nothing has happened it's because its not the right time yet God is working. You can't see how God's working bit if you are waiting on God and you're being responsible in your other areas, God is working for you.
He is setting it up, it is just not quite ready yet.
      Psalm 46:1
Secondly, God's delays are not necessarily God's denials. If God is delaying it doesn't mean he is denying, it just means the circumstances of deliverance is not ripe yet. This is what it means when God gives you a Mercy, it will be right and it will be ripe - r-i-p-e taste and see that the Lord is good.
Number three: When God delays a mercy he often doubles the mercy. Job suffered, remember the story. In the last chapter when Job forgave his friends God returned to him everything he had lost, doubled.
Isaiah 61:7 talks about God giving back double.

It can be insidious but loving people and fearing people are two very different things. Yet sometimes we get them very mixed up. I'll admit that I am prone to this, especially now living in S/E Asia as I desire to "become all things to all people" as Paul did and know how to love in a meaningful way! May the Lord God give us discernment and strength to know the difference. May we love as Christ did- even if at times it means to speak the truth in love, to indeed not have complacency towards sin and desire for praise from God MORE than praise from man. (John 12:43 ) To walk in a manner worthy of our calling with gentleness, patience and humility amidst our confident movement in faith. Let us see you the day you unify us in TRUTH and continue to set us FREE from fear as we become like you Lord!!! (1 John 4).

Jesus is the Truth and we know him. And he who continues in his word shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set them free. He who the Son sets free is free indeed. He shall not fail thee nor forsake thee. Fear not, neither be thou dismayed. For he will keep thee in all thy ways and satisfy thy soul in drought.

@@AnHebrewChild yeah, I understand the caution needed. We can indeed become too focused on that and not on become like Jesus 1 John 4. In a sense He does know how to love each of us individually because He knows us through and through, but His Word tells us what to do!

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

    Psalms 103:10
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
    Hebrews 12:1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
    1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Yes there is a major problem with fearing man what God is able to do is a whole lot worse than what they are able to do.

I will do you one even better. They can only do what God has given them to do. For Christ said that God can destroy Body and Soul, as opposed to men who can only destroy body.

Perhaps this question has been addressed before in this channel but is there a place for therapy (seeking psychiatric help) when battling anxiety? Or is it all spiritual?

    • @ejwoods2457
      @ejwoods2457 Год назад +2

I don’t think you should see them as mutually exclusive. But be circumspect when deciding whether or not to seek “psychiatric” help. Now, therapy is a different story. That can always be beneficial. But seeking medication too rashly is not wise. I say this while on a couple psychiatric meds myself. So I’m not biased completely towards them. But by seeking anxiety meds too quickly instead of Pastoral, Biblical, Prayerful and psychological help first I’ve had two consequences occur. They first was becoming dependent and even abusive with benzodiazepines(Xanax, Klonopin and Valium.)A class of drug often prescribed for anxiety that has a very high abuse potential and potentially life threatening withdrawal symptoms. The second effect, if not using benzodiazepines, was that came to rely on too often. I fell in with our culture’s sin of constantly seeking to consume something thereby leading to a lust for convenience. I merely offer you with humility this hard won wisdom of mine that perhaps you can avoid excesses or neglect of trusting Christ and healing balm of pastoral care. Grace and Peace unto you my Sister in faith!!

I get what he's saying here I truly understand it the problem I've been having here lately is that I have a hook a thing that I do habitually and it's bothering me I don't like doing it and I would like to stop and I'm not getting any help from the Lord at least I don't think I am secondly on the third generation to be born free in America you see my great-grandparents are black Americans as a Man my great-grandparents were slaves and their parents were slated it's their parents were slaves and so on, and collectively we have been praying for 400 years to be out from under this yoke and nothing ever happens the harder we pray it seems the worst things got happened and still to this day in 2022 we're still being put upon oppressed terrorize murdered raped simply because of the color of our skin and the racism and hatred it seems to be the nature of white people and again I'm not trying to be that bad person I'm simply expressing how I feel as I've told God many many times why why God do you leave us in this stuff and sometimes it is very hard to believe
