Same here. I too had me pre order rules broken by this game. KH2 is in somewhere in my top 5 games of all time. Being able to play KH3 at higher resolutions while still at high FPS compared to PS5 backwards compatibility is a plus especially since this game relies on quick reflexes.

Your videos convinced me to pull the trigger on a steam deck, and I haven’t touched either of my consoles in WEEKS. When I saw the announcement that KH is coming to Steam, I knew it was over for my consoles to be used any time soon.

My absolute favorite series of all time, I only just got my Steam Deck a few weeks ago so this is essentially perfect timing. I've bought each and every one of the games multiple times over and in about to gladly do it again.

100% looking forward to the release. I'm still biding my time until I get it on Steam in hopes for a Deck Verified review and some halfway decent performance that way. Probably going to pick them up regardless of the deck status though, just so I have them on the platform.
X-2's combat is amazing if you haven't given it a shot. Also I have had the Kingdom Hearts series on my Epic wishlist since it launched, but no sale price was low enough for me to want to buy in on that store. So I will definitely get all of the games on Steam before the end of the year. It is launching the same day as SMT V though.

33 and just started playing an emulated version of FFX last week. I also started KH2 the other day but was advised to play 1 first, so will be downloading the emulator for that too. Before I get moaned at. I’ve actually gone and purchased the original ps2 versions of KH1 and 2 and FFX/X-2 on eBay 👌🏻 love me a physical disc and they’ll look awesome on the shelf along side the other few FF games I have

@@julienmelnick Thank YOU! I'm not fan of Disney but you kinda made me want to play Kingdom Hearts, I'll definitely buy the bundle when it comes on Steam this june. Played a bit of the first one when I was a kid and the combat felt good, but I never was a Disney type of guy, I'll probably stick to it and see how Square managed to mix their licenses with Disney's ! :)

Here’s hoping that Square enix finally fixed the game so it’ll work on these portable handhelds (it had issues on the Rog Ally due to AMD issues) because man would it be nice to play KH on the steam deck and it not be the emulated versions (Kh3 and 2.8 collection should work with no issues whatsoever). Just found this channel while looking up steam deck stuff and got hooked while on my lunch break. You’ve got a sub.

I got a pretty late start into Kingdom Hearts, I started in 2018 leading up to the release of KH3. Some of my friends pushed me to join in and I lived and breathed KH until launch day of KH3. It was good times, having couch sessions with a few college friends playing until 7am from the night before. We ended up attending the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra - World of Tres and it still to this day has been one of the best video game ost performances I've heard and I've attended multiple FF Orchestras and most recently the Nier End of Data event. Look up Overture to the Decisive Battle, its such an amazing piece, 9 minute arrangment of the major bosses across all the games.
I cannot wait to re-experience Birth by Sleep during your playthrough. I would say it has the best story and gameplay in the series. In the final stretches of each of the playthroughs are some of the most tense and best bosses the series has to offer. I was pleading to my friends demanding I don't have to fight X character again and they just smiled. Final Mix critical mode BBS broke me but I like that type of stuff, beating my head against a brick wall till to falls over is such a vibe. I hope we see more of Young Xehanort in KH4.
Ive been playing FFX for the last couple weeks....Im shocked i got this far when i was a kid. This time ive been beating Seymour without having to summon anything....its great being slightly over leveled.

KH games have always been dope, despite its EXTREMELY convoluted story. Didn't play the in-between games though, but unfortunately they are vital to understanding the story (including the mobile one that released in Japan only).

@@fernandolopez4895 it’s not verified plays well I did not think text was small. I have played it more on my steam deck then my pc. I think the battle system is better with the controller vs keyboard. Note if a a game is not verified doesn’t mean it won’t play it usually because small text or some maybe tapping a button on the screen. This is full controller support.

Honest question not trying to troll, is the play station portal even useful? Or is it 100% a gimmick that I can do the same on my steam deck and smart phone.
I prefer the dual sense but if you can stomach the phone or steamdeck implementation then the portals redundant.

I've heard Kingdom Hearts series is good but I never bothered with any of them before. I played the first three Final Fantasies way back in the day AND the Mana series but never touched any of them after that. LoL.
Fwiw I heard SE is finally bringing the entire Kingdom Hearts games to Switch 2 and not that crappy cloud version they put on the original Switch.

I'm 53 born in1970. I had a radio shack electronics scoreboard device before the Atari 2600 came out. I bought a Nintendo NES in high school and a Sega Genesis. I never had a super Nintendo and I absolutely hated the look and feel of the N64 controllers so I never wanted to play any N64 games. Zelda was my least favorite game on the NES. That style of game is just not for me. The type of games that shape the gamer that I am today started with mortal Kombat and then it was the resident evil series. I've had all the PlayStation consoles since the beginning. Resident evil 4 will be my all-time favorite game because my oldest boy and myself bonded over resident evil 4. I would venture to say that resident evil 4 made my oldest boy a gamer.😊
But recently I've got really into call of duty mobile on my Android tablet and fortnite on my switch or my PS5

Misleading video thumbnail, I thought he was using the PS Portal with the Steam deck in some way, waited and waited for him to bring up merging them together, only to hear about Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, no love for Chrono Trigger? What about Cadash or Act Raiser too! Oh and I'm 50 and been listening to emo rap since 2012 hahaha! Still love my Metalcore, Screamo, Post HxC, dubstep/chillstep and electrocore music, but got burned out on it listening mainly to metal ever since 1987 with some rap like Run DMC and Beastie Boys and honorable mentions to Atari Teenage Riot or Mindless Self Indulgence, but missed the freshness of Sonic Youth, Fugazi, Minor Threat, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys and emo rap genre kind of brought a breath of fresh air into sort of rap and punk revival. Mind you as a kid my music library went something like KISS, Sammy Hagar, Neil Diamond, Lionel Richie, Beastie Boys, Overkill, Slayer, Anthrax, Steve Vai, Tiffany, Men Without Hats, The Cure, Pink Floyd, LL Cool J, Whodini, Fat Boys, New Order. Go figure why it's still all over the place.
