@Woerdoxer of course these videos are well planned in advance. Whether the visually impaired man was part of that plan is unknown. We who are familiar with Angelina, know she is sincere, genuine, humble and filled with love.
There are hundreds and who knows maybe thousands of these types of “spontaneous” videos out there. At first I thought there were really accidental encounters but as I realized there were so many of them I figured that for the most part they must be staged. I don’t think they necessarily lrehearse before hand but I figured they must be prearranged. Regarding promotion of new artists, yes it was a real eye opener when we learned how the industry really works today. Things have totally changed in this digital world. Many fans have really been upset with Republic’s “lack of promotion” but in reality Republic is just reflecting how the music world has changed. I assume this has been a gradual change and I wonder what the landscape was when Angelina first signed 4 years ago. I wonder if that means that those artist that do have a viral video are for the most part already signed with a label or are looking for a deal.
