I'm glad the return went well
I remember leaving a comment about returning the blender. I return anything and everything if it’s faulty regardless of cost. Kmart a very good with their refund policy. Glad you got it sorted. I have a Ninja with the bullet cups and one cup is large, 900mls I think. My friend also had those food storage containers with the lids breaking. Great haul and thanks for taking us through Kmart ♥️
Lots of dish racks lol, my blender so old don't remember where I bought it lol but it still works, nice bath mats,nice basket chest, nice lamps,nice candles,nice pillows,I have have big shears in my shed ,if you lived closer you could just have them,nice journal,nice notebook,
If a product is faulty you don’t need your receipt you can return the product although you might only get a credit voucher. But it’s better than nothing. 😊

Your rights as a customer
You have the right to know before entry that a shop conducts bag checks. Signage must be clearly displayed at the entrance/s to the shop.
Store personnel are only allowed to look in your bag. They are not allowed to touch the contents inside. However, if you are asked to remove an object in your bag so they can see inside properly, you are expected to cooperate.
All bags can be checked however, small handbags (the size of A4 paper or smaller) should not be unless the retailer is certain they contain goods from that shop which have not been paid for.
A retailer is only allowed to detain you and call the police in situations where they are sure an offence has been committed.
If shop staff forcibly detain or search you and you have not committed an offence, you are entitled to make a complaint to store management or NSW Police.
Although you have rights as a customer, you should be aware of the guidelines that protect the retailer. They are:
If you enter a store with signage clearly advising bag checks as a condition of entry, you are agreeing to this condition of entry and therefore, a bag check.
The retailer’s right to check your bags also includes checking cartons, parcels or any other container you are carrying that could reasonably conceal goods.
If you refuse to allow shop staff to check your bags, you can be asked to leave the shop and not return.

Bag check guidelines have been developed by the Australian Retailers Association and endorsed by NSW Fair Trading. The guidelines outline customer and retailer rights and responsibilities as determined by the general law of contract (as the customer entering a shop does so ‘under licence’ from the retailer). They do not form a part of Australian Consumer Law.

I had the same blender and the same issue. Problem was I foolishly threw the receipt out thinking I would never need it in the future.
My blender only lasted 4 months and it quit mid blending through a smoothie. I got so frustrated I emptied the drink into one of my hand shaker's and shook the heck out of it.
Now the blender just sits there as a costly reminder: always keep the receipt folks!
My kids must have felt sorry for me as they got me a beautiful Nutribullet blender combo 1200 with all the fancy gadgets for christmas just gone.
Due to it being so fancy I've used it once. I'm just frightened I'll used it and it will go the way of the blender from K-Mart.
ahhhh I thought customer service was so great but maybe it's because it's a "usual" occurance and they don't even question it?
You can return the faulty product and get a credit voucher. 😊
You can get a refund if you used a Fly Buys Card or a Credit/Debit card. Take your Bank statement in for Card purchases.
@@zestygirl I have returned my containers complete with the blown out tops. Even when they are working they aren’t Air Tight. Hate the damn things.
