Saber-tooth: Wolverine and X-23 can both be discarded or destroyed, but we all know that destroy is where they shine. Adding discard to Saber-tooth's ability would be like that, but in reverse; he can be destroyed, but he'd thrive in discard.
I would LOVE to see a Captain America ability based around his shield. Something like deflects destroy back to an enemy at this location. So if someone tried to Shang a card there, it would deflect back to a random card at that location. Someone throws a Killmonger, and it deflects all those Kunai back at cards in that location
I think making it all cards in play is too strong, especially if it's a 0 cost like Majornir which then can be drawn with Jane. I think making it buff all of the cards in CA's location on the other hand might be a good call.
My idea for a White Queen change: 3 cost, 4 energy, same ability but reduce the copied card cost by one. If you hit the nuts you can Quinjet on 1, WQ on 3, potenially copy their 6 cost and play it on 4. But if you don't have Quinjet you can still play their 6 on turn 5. Seems good / fair especially with Valentina coming out.
That's way too strong imo. I think making that effect on her being a 4 cost is good enough because at worst you can play a 6 cost on turn 5, and if you have Quinjet then you have spare energy as well. You can always reduce her cost with Zabu so I think it's fine to keep her as a 4 cost.
I'm going to try U.S.Agent in C3. You only typically run a handful cards above 3-cost in that build anyway (Iron Man, Valk, and maybe Shang.) Just keep him away from them and he *could* be pretty good.
I love it. Kind of encourages him to only be used as a destroy shell though, so maybe he doesn't destroy them but does something mechanically different like the change they made with Loki transforming cards rather than drawing them. He could replace them with 'dust' tokens. 0/0 dust.
Make Cap's ability "After each turn, give ALL cards in the same lane as Cap +1 Power." (like Muir island) and he'll immediately be competitive. Remember it aso buffs opponent's cards so it's not completely OP.
I don't agree with this at all, mainly because it doesn't fit Cap since he wants to help your team not your opponent as well. Second of all you'll just auto lose against decks such as bounce or little movers since they also run Elsa. I think just making him a 3/5 is good enough, 3/4 is ok but then he's just a 3/7 in terms of value.

One place where Us Agent might shine is being another counter to Tribunal deck. Imagine putting Us Agent on turn 6 to one lane and then Tribunal deck copying his effect to another lane with Skrull. That would be absolutely devastating for them (especially when opponent uses Onslaught on the same lane with Skrull), because Tribunal deck uses a lot of big cost cards and his negative effect might end up even doubled by Iron Man.
I can see him in anihulus deck. Play him in the right lane after you force the sentry token over to your opponents side. Then they have -13 power on that side

@@haydenmcqueen2503 your only looking at it from one angle and one that is really is not a good argument for this poorly executed change as cards generally come and go as time goes and you did not have to play thanos to reach infinite. So waiting a week for full change is not making that big of a difference. So let’s take it from a different perspective as requiring cards make takes a long time compared to other games where it takes about 1 and half months to guarantee getting a card you want. If a player got thanos just a day or a week ago just got screwed of their time. The card is dead now and when the other changes come the card can still be trashed or they don’t like the new play style. This even worse for those that have smaller card collection. They need to be open that they are going to completely change a card function early so people don’t get screwed over and release all the changes at once so the card is useless until all changes come out to test it out. We don’t even know if they are all coming next week either.

I wish SD would break their no refunds policy for full card reworks like thanos is seemingly getting. I was looking at it from the perspective that people have been frustrated playing against thanos for a while people are just sick of him atm so this current change is just a band-aid to alleviate that frustration until the full change comes into effect. I do wish it was handled a bit better for sure but I'm also happy they removed thanos from the meta for at least a few days. I was sick and tired of dealing with him constantly. I am very interested to see what happens tomorrow.
One great combo I thought of already was for Doc Ock, who has a bad habit of pulling Shang. So if you put Doc on US Agent, he loses 3 and becomes non-destroyable.
I feel like the only way Sabretooth gets played is in a non-Deadpool destroy list where the main win condition is to Zola a Knull. But that’s asking kind of a lot
After every ladder reset I always run into about 5-6 full gold split destroy decks that run yondu, sabertooth, and shang chi. One of them even dropped an enchantress on me.
I'd be interested to see a debuff deck using USAgent Man-Thing Goose Luke Cage Hazmat Absorbing Man Idk how good it would be but it could at least be a fun deck
Fun fact: War Machine was originally another armor for Tony Stark. Rhodey became Iron Man for a bit and even wore the War Machine armor for a little bit while still under the name, Iron Man.
Loved the Marvel Rivals talk, I’m so (cautiously) hyped for that game as well, and good news Cozy; Moon Knight actually is a playable character in game already. He was in an earlier build than the officially shown roster, same with Thor. Expect them both at launch or shortly after in a season update
I think USAgent is going to be pretty good in a zoo type of deck. The fact that he's ongoing is huge IMO. Let's see what happens when he's released, but I think he's low-key underrated.
USAgent would be great to be played lateT5+. At worst, he's 2/6 if you can guarantee the spot. Just need another low cost card to fill the spare energy (something like Havok?). Can also played with Daredevil to guarantee the spot. Or use Goose to force 50/50 on the other 2 location. Or paired with Negasonic so that they cannot use low cost card as bait for higher cost card.
I was thinking of zoo as well. Perhaps with Goose. Lock a location with Goose. Force your opponent to play their big guys at another location. Then hit that location with USAgent. Edit: They mentioned Goose about 5 minutes after I typed this.

I like the idea of Goose with USAgent... but thats about it. Not sure yet if I will be picking up the card, I don't have Jeff but I have War Machine. If anyone wants to share their opinion on what I should do please comment!
skip jeff is good but not mandatory, i think you can safely wait for his comeback in a few months usagent is not as bad as alex says, but is far from being good, and this month is packed with good cards
US agent has one home and it is C3 that's the only good place I can think he would be godly. pair him up with valkyrie and one lane with 4-5-6 cost card goes to 3 and with US agent it goes down to zero. It is an overkill but kinda good with goose.
I feel U.S. Agent is close to a 3.5 rating. I'm probably wrong but I see a lot of potential against various Zabu Decks (multiple value 4-drops, lanes where the opponent has decent power between a 4-drop and 5-drop, etc. where for 2 cost you have a 9+ power swing. I see lines of turn 6; Shang-Chi one lane and U. S. Agent another more closely contested lane. Also, the opponent may be feeling safe with good power but their characters are all below 10 power and this could bring many surprise lane takeovers. Eh, again I'm probably wrong, but I feel this has a lot of potential.
If the card was "free for all at day 1", I'd agree with you. But in a world where even paying players have to calculate resources to get cards, he's a simple no.
Its funny how USAgent is an ongoing but most people won't care or want the card in the first place but Red Hulk isn't an ongoing and he could really benefit from that simple text change to not be as powerful.
@@chocie1977 Red Hulk's reveal to the enemy could still work as is, just add ongoing to allow for cards like Enchantress and Rogue to be able to steal/negate the effect. Right now he's simply an "I didn't pull Shang-Chi/Shadow King. Guess I better leave"
One problem with Stegron is that he hits a random card to a random location. His power isn’t high enough for that much randomness. He needs to either hit to a knowable location or hit a knowable card for him to be more effective.
14:06 Havok in these low cost decks. But Goose, Storm, Cosmo and now you have an ongoing to really bring down whatever they manage to get out or sneak under goose or whatever. With Sera and Shadow King and Havok and Antman, yeah your power builds and their's is stunted. Might not be a big cube winner but a game winner. In this instance I'd put him at a 3 star with Shadow King.
37:00 Uatu could have ability to see all properties from start and not reveal the properties for 1 extra turn for your opponent but not you. So on turn 2 they get to see the left prop. Turn 3 middle lane flips for them and turn 4 flips right lane. Also any buffs or bonuses are hidden from the opponent until the enemy sees it like that +1 each turn land would finally reflect to them so they can't obviously know why you stuck your card there
One way to buff Colossus, is by making it so he cant be destroyed/discarded before being placed on the board. Like if someone played Yondu and it drew your Colossus, it would just block his ability. Same thing if someone used Silver Samurai or Black Bolt. It would be a small buff.

As a relatively new player i was quite disappointed at how little effect the stones had on Thanos. Now that he starts in the hand,, you can do something more fitting like.. 1, Give Thanos the effect - "on reveal" gain the power of each stone in play. remove the give him +10 as the stone will add him power. Possibly buff him. Then. 1. soul stone, on reveal, 0/0 sacrifice a unit here replace it with a card in deck of the same cost (pseudo draw) and add it power to this stone. (a soul for a soul) it also makes deck building need more thinking. 2. power stone on reveal, 1/3 when you summon you're next card add its power to this stone 3 time stone, on reveal, 1/2. draw a 1 cost card and perm give thanos -1 cost.(speeding up the "time" at which hes played/ 4. reality stone, on reveal, 0/2 removes the text from this location and draw a card. (lets you remove annoying one where no 1 costs can be played and makes thanos bigger) 5. mind stone, on reveal, draw a 1 cost card from deck (single 1 cost as soul stone now pseudo draws 6. space stone, on reveal. 1/2, keep the same. effect - just a biff to buff thanos
Adam Warlock is such an easy fix. 2/2 or 2/3 On Reveal: Discard the leftmost card in your hand. Draw a card. Hell, even 'discard a card at random and draw a card' might be good.
Because Shang has been the best Avenger for so long and Cap wants to have a word. Captain America: 3/3 Gains +1 Power whenever Vibranium Shield is added to your hand. On Reveal: Add the Vibranium Shield to your hand. Vibranium Shield: 1/1 When a card here is destroyed, prevent it then return this to your hand. Ongoing: Can't be destroyed.
I'm not going to go as far to say that USAgent is 5 stars busted but I think it's going to see play, it'll find it's place for sure. For me the biggest turn off right now is that people are playing more Luke Cage because there's weirdly a lot more Hazmat about than usual.
USAgent could maybe slap pretty hard in C3, though I wonder if Cerebro is due for a rework with how we’re constantly getting locations that make it more difficult to play.

@@Jmerithew87 C5 is definitely the most beginner-friendly iteration, I think. As you say, it provides more win conditions and power spread. Black Swan on T5 and dumping Ant-Man, Titania, Martyr, and Dr. Doom on T6 is so fun.
I actually am almost at infinite right now while using a Pixie deck with Uatu and Adam warlock, uatu is actually doing very well in that deck because he both gives you a glimpse at a location, and allows pixie to make a card cost 1, additionally the deck also had echo who is much easier to strategically position thanks to uatu (at least to me). And Adam Warlock is doing well in there too because without mobius, pixie can give you some dead draws, and in that particular deck it also buffs devil dinosaur while also giving you a chance to draw him, i think adam warlock could be considered the pixie equivelant of negative's jane foster. I had also tried using Adam in a non pixie deck once and i don't see why people don't like him.
i think USAgent can take maximus's place in the new Baron mill decks. if you play him on curve he has great synergy with gladiator since he can then destroy up to 10 power cards. he also works great with Doc Oc since Doc will dodge shang and USAgent minimizes their big pulls from him.
Cozy mentioning Quake as a sleeper 2 cost made my day. She is awesome. Before Thanos nerf, i was playing all month long a location control-esque Thanos list running legion, quake, storm and negasonic, i was having WAY more fun with that deck than the meta thanos list and i had the winrate of the regular thanos list. So underrated and undervalued. Great pick.
I've actually been LOVING quake. Storm a location with a card like nebula down at another location, and boom you just straight up win a location by turn 4. Add the crazy red hulk and other synergies like doom and ms marvel, and you get my new age control deck. Amazing
US Agent's previous effect was more in line with his character. he is powerful when standing alone and once you pair him with other characters, his identity is revealed and he gets weaker
My sleepers at every cost 1.Bast 2.Pixie (once Mobius starts to see less play, this card will shine) 3.Juggernaut (single handedly wins lanes) 4.Silver Samurai (not that much now, but in the Thanos Tirany, he was really good at discarding their Blob) 5.Valkyrie 6.Tribunal (not in the classic ongoing list or Hela list but he steal cubes in Move Bounce and Phoenix Force decks)
Seeing Morph in the new Xmen cartoon has me wanting a card similar to Nico where each turn it cycles. Except in this case maybe it goes down and randomly changes to a new card each turn. Complete random and unsure what it could turn into but it would be pretty interesting.
Mailbag: What you think about the idea of add .5 power to the game (as a buff not probably a solid starting number) . It seems the difference of +1 power can make or break some cards. So why not meet in the middle. Random example is Angela gaining 1.5 power instead of 1 power or 2 and werewolf by night 1.5 instead of 2 and lower his cost back . Or dark hawk/blob/knull gets .5 power per _______. Not saying all of these need that but it's an example of balancing some of these cards that literally 1 power means the difference between a underperformed card, and a broken card.
Only reason I don’t like US Agent is cause dropping a 6 down 3 power makes them unable to be hit by Shang chi which is clearly just better if they have that much power to begin with
20:07 okay here's the big difference between Man Thing and USAgent. With Man Thing you require the cards you're also trying to bring down. The deck is fine it's just way hard to pilot and people don't want to. I play a lot of a low cost Havok deck. It's great. That kind of deck would love something to help bring the power down on cards that don't grow in power. You throw Shang-Chi , Shadow King, and this guy in a lower cost deck and you would be suprised how good it will be. You guys talk about the Sera deck. This will be better value in there and Spectrum. But hey, I could eat my words. I'll await the brutally honest review.
My god! Now I understand why they made warlock to a 5 cost. Because they were going to add Barom Zemo. Warlock can counter zemo mill because it gives you more chances to draw cards before you are milled if warlock stayed 2 cost!
My concept for thanos... Thanos 10/6 (Starts at the left of your hand shuffles and shuffles stones into deck/hand) Space stone: On reveal move a random card to this location and give it +1 power. Draw a card (after played merge with Thanos, -1 cost and +1 power to thanos ) Reality Stone: On reveal transform into a new location and draw a card (after played merge, -1 cost and +1 power to thanos) Time stone: on reveal Draw a card and give it -1 cost (merge for -1 cost and +1 power) Mind stone: On reveal draw 2 1cost cards (merge for -1 cost and +1 power) Power stone: On reveal Draw a card that isn't a stone and give it 1 power. (merges for -1 cost and + 2power) Souls stone: On reveal -1 power to all cards in this lane (merges with thanos, -1 cost and gives thanos the ongoing ability off -1 power to all enemy cards in this lane) Thanos could get down to a 4/16 if his soul stone ability is hitting 4 enemy cards. Then with the +2 from the space and power stones to other cards thanos power would equal 18 but you'd have to play 6 cards. That wouldn't be counting if the soul stone effect any cards before merging with thanos which could get up to 22 power
I think colossus should have the Jeff effect where nothing can prevent him from being played at a location along with his other abilities, but then you don’t have the flexibility of moving him.

A lot of people have good card suggestions. Heres mine White Queen 4/5 On Reveal: Copy the highest-Cost card in your opponent's hand into your hand. Remove the originals text. Somewhat flavor as she can use her mind to give herself the advantage and mess with people
Can’t currently play the silky smooth Angela decks as I didn’t pick up kitty or Elsa and am currently playing a c2 build. It’s doing very well! Goose and shadow king are carrying me against all the red hulk and Angela right now, and I even hit top 100 infinite!

Glenn has spoken before about the struggles they have with statting Colossus at the same ability but higher cost. Consider what you need to go through with Black Knight to produce an unkillable dude over 10 power...
I like the idea of the stones directly interacting with Thanos. Like the space stone is a warmachine/jeff effect for him, maybe the reality turns a location into space throne?
re: Colossus. What about something like 5/10 with Ongoing: Can't be destroyed. Can't be moved. Can't have cost increased. I think that fits the character pretty well. I know the numbers don't always line up with the comics, but Colossus should not be a wimpy little 3 power guy.
My bold take is that quicksilver could be a 1/4 and domino a 2/5. That way they could be more of 'priority grabbing' cards in the early game at the cost of reducing the chance of drawing a card you want. Which is a pretty big downside to warrant better stats IMO
My fix for Watu. Something like you get a +1 or +2 power on him if you have him on the board before turn 3 and your opponent plays on the 3rd board before it reveals. Each card they play there before the reveal gives the added power.

I like the idea of Captain America having some sort of ‘shielding’ ability given his character and overall role as a tank-like avenger. Current Abilities: 3-cost / 3-power Description: Ongoing: All cards here have +1 power. *New Abilities*: 4-cost / 5-power Description: On Reveal: Throw a shield over your highest power card (or random). Shielded Card cannot be destroyed or moved.
Buff to Werewolf - yes and we should have been called for this at the start of the year. I can literally count the number of times I’ve seen him since the nerf on two hands. Take him back to three cost and reduce his power
Just gonna throw this out there, US Agent opens up the possibility of Iron Lad for Cerebro 3, if you drop IL on US Agent he drops to 3 and boom. Relevant. Same with Stegron. The deck practically builds itself.
Balanced Buff ideas: If they Buff Captain America they should buff punisher as well. Have Stegron move the last card in a location. It would even be questionable like aero if you don’t have priority. Make Uatu guaranteed not the be drawn in your opening hand. Like old American Chavez which is not that broken for a 1 cost.
Uatu (1/0) - Ongoing: Tap this to see your opponent's top deck. First off, he must have 0 power because he must not intervene. This sacrifices a card slot and a board slot just to see the enemy's top deck which is maybe too good but Loki can kinda do this, Howard is kinda like this but it sucks, so maybe it still is not good. But itll be more usable this way

I like finding different 'Toxic' list. I don't have Annihilus so I think Magneto to nuke their power. With Annihilus in the deck I would take High Evo [and Abom] out and put in Annihilus and the Hood.

Make Cap's ability "After each turn, give ALL cards in the same lane as Cap +1 Power." (like Muir island) and he'll immediately be competitive. Remember it aso buffs opponent's cards so it's not completely OP.
I don't agree with this at all, mainly because it doesn't fit Cap since he wants to help your team not your opponent as well.
Second of all you'll just auto lose against decks such as bounce or little movers since they also run Elsa.
I think just making him a 3/5 is good enough, 3/4 is ok but then he's just a 3/7 in terms of value.
They need to do something with his shield so when you play him you get a shield added to your hand that does something

One place where Us Agent might shine is being another counter to Tribunal deck. Imagine putting Us Agent on turn 6 to one lane and then Tribunal deck copying his effect to another lane with Skrull. That would be absolutely devastating for them (especially when opponent uses Onslaught on the same lane with Skrull), because Tribunal deck uses a lot of big cost cards and his negative effect might end up even doubled by Iron Man.
I can see him in anihulus deck. Play him in the right lane after you force the sentry token over to your opponents side. Then they have -13 power on that side

@@haydenmcqueen2503 your only looking at it from one angle and one that is really is not a good argument for this poorly executed change as cards generally come and go as time goes and you did not have to play thanos to reach infinite. So waiting a week for full change is not making that big of a difference.
So let’s take it from a different perspective as requiring cards make takes a long time compared to other games where it takes about 1 and half months to guarantee getting a card you want. If a player got thanos just a day or a week ago just got screwed of their time. The card is dead now and when the other changes come the card can still be trashed or they don’t like the new play style. This even worse for those that have smaller card collection.
They need to be open that they are going to completely change a card function early so people don’t get screwed over and release all the changes at once so the card is useless until all changes come out to test it out. We don’t even know if they are all coming next week either.

I was looking at it from the perspective that people have been frustrated playing against thanos for a while people are just sick of him atm so this current change is just a band-aid to alleviate that frustration until the full change comes into effect.
I do wish it was handled a bit better for sure but I'm also happy they removed thanos from the meta for at least a few days. I was sick and tired of dealing with him constantly.

One great combo I thought of already was for Doc Ock, who has a bad habit of pulling Shang. So if you put Doc on US Agent, he loses 3 and becomes non-destroyable.
I feel like the only way Sabretooth gets played is in a non-Deadpool destroy list where the main win condition is to Zola a Knull. But that’s asking kind of a lot
After every ladder reset I always run into about 5-6 full gold split destroy decks that run yondu, sabertooth, and shang chi. One of them even dropped an enchantress on me.

Loved the Marvel Rivals talk, I’m so (cautiously) hyped for that game as well, and good news Cozy; Moon Knight actually is a playable character in game already. He was in an earlier build than the officially shown roster, same with Thor. Expect them both at launch or shortly after in a season update
I think USAgent is going to be pretty good in a zoo type of deck. The fact that he's ongoing is huge IMO. Let's see what happens when he's released, but I think he's low-key underrated.
USAgent would be great to be played lateT5+. At worst, he's 2/6 if you can guarantee the spot.
Just need another low cost card to fill the spare energy (something like Havok?).
Can also played with Daredevil to guarantee the spot. Or use Goose to force 50/50 on the other 2 location.
Or paired with Negasonic so that they cannot use low cost card as bait for higher cost card.

Perhaps with Goose. Lock a location with Goose. Force your opponent to play their big guys at another location. Then hit that location with USAgent.

Man-Thing is another card that could work. Put him in a lane where he gives 1,2 and 3 costs -3, goose, then USAGent in another. Its a saw-trap.
US agent has one home and it is C3 that's the only good place I can think he would be godly. pair him up with valkyrie and one lane with 4-5-6 cost card goes to 3 and with US agent it goes down to zero. It is an overkill but kinda good with goose.
I feel U.S. Agent is close to a 3.5 rating. I'm probably wrong but I see a lot of potential against various Zabu Decks (multiple value 4-drops, lanes where the opponent has decent power between a 4-drop and 5-drop, etc. where for 2 cost you have a 9+ power swing. I see lines of turn 6; Shang-Chi one lane and U. S. Agent another more closely contested lane. Also, the opponent may be feeling safe with good power but their characters are all below 10 power and this could bring many surprise lane takeovers. Eh, again I'm probably wrong, but I feel this has a lot of potential.
If the card was "free for all at day 1", I'd agree with you. But in a world where even paying players have to calculate resources to get cards, he's a simple no.

Its funny how USAgent is an ongoing but most people won't care or want the card in the first place but Red Hulk isn't an ongoing and he could really benefit from that simple text change to not be as powerful.

One problem with Stegron is that he hits a random card to a random location. His power isn’t high enough for that much randomness. He needs to either hit to a knowable location or hit a knowable card for him to be more effective.
14:06 Havok in these low cost decks. But Goose, Storm, Cosmo and now you have an ongoing to really bring down whatever they manage to get out or sneak under goose or whatever. With Sera and Shadow King and Havok and Antman, yeah your power builds and their's is stunted. Might not be a big cube winner but a game winner. In this instance I'd put him at a 3 star with Shadow King.

37:00 Uatu could have ability to see all properties from start and not reveal the properties for 1 extra turn for your opponent but not you. So on turn 2 they get to see the left prop. Turn 3 middle lane flips for them and turn 4 flips right lane. Also any buffs or bonuses are hidden from the opponent until the enemy sees it like that +1 each turn land would finally reflect to them so they can't obviously know why you stuck your card there
One way to buff Colossus, is by making it so he cant be destroyed/discarded before being placed on the board. Like if someone played Yondu and it drew your Colossus, it would just block his ability. Same thing if someone used Silver Samurai or Black Bolt. It would be a small buff.
White queen can be same cost and power but she gives -1 cost to the card she copies will be the perfect buff!

As a relatively new player i was quite disappointed at how little effect the stones had on Thanos.
Now that he starts in the hand,, you can do something more fitting like..
1, Give Thanos the effect - "on reveal" gain the power of each stone in play.
remove the give him +10 as the stone will add him power. Possibly buff him. Then.
1. soul stone, on reveal, 0/0
sacrifice a unit here replace it with a card in deck of the same cost (pseudo draw) and add it power to this stone. (a soul for a soul) it also makes deck building need more thinking.
2. power stone on reveal, 1/3
when you summon you're next card add its power to this stone
3 time stone, on reveal, 1/2. draw a 1 cost card and perm give thanos -1 cost.(speeding up the "time" at which hes played/
4. reality stone, on reveal, 0/2 removes the text from this location and draw a card.
(lets you remove annoying one where no 1 costs can be played and makes thanos bigger)
5. mind stone, on reveal, draw a 1 cost card from deck
(single 1 cost as soul stone now pseudo draws
6. space stone, on reveal. 1/2, keep the same. effect - just a biff to buff thanos
Uatu: Each time a location changes, give this card +2 power.
Mailbag: Make white queen give the card she copied -1 cost
Bring Sabertooth down to 2 cost
A thought - US Agent into Gladiator, will help Gladiator reach further. He could now pop cards of 10 power or less, if they're 4, 5 or 6 cost.

I'm not going to go as far to say that USAgent is 5 stars busted but I think it's going to see play, it'll find it's place for sure.
For me the biggest turn off right now is that people are playing more Luke Cage because there's weirdly a lot more Hazmat about than usual.
USAgent could maybe slap pretty hard in C3, though I wonder if Cerebro is due for a rework with how we’re constantly getting locations that make it more difficult to play.
Cerebro in general needs some help badly. It is getting tougher and tougher to play any iteration of it. And I'm saying this as a huge Cerebro player.

@@Jmerithew87 C5 is definitely the most beginner-friendly iteration, I think. As you say, it provides more win conditions and power spread. Black Swan on T5 and dumping Ant-Man, Titania, Martyr, and Dr. Doom on T6 is so fun.

I actually am almost at infinite right now while using a Pixie deck with Uatu and Adam warlock, uatu is actually doing very well in that deck because he both gives you a glimpse at a location, and allows pixie to make a card cost 1, additionally the deck also had echo who is much easier to strategically position thanks to uatu (at least to me). And Adam Warlock is doing well in there too because without mobius, pixie can give you some dead draws, and in that particular deck it also buffs devil dinosaur while also giving you a chance to draw him, i think adam warlock could be considered the pixie equivelant of negative's jane foster.
I had also tried using Adam in a non pixie deck once and i don't see why people don't like him.
i think USAgent can take maximus's place in the new Baron mill decks. if you play him on curve he has great synergy with gladiator since he can then destroy up to 10 power cards. he also works great with Doc Oc since Doc will dodge shang and USAgent minimizes their big pulls from him.
Cozy mentioning Quake as a sleeper 2 cost made my day. She is awesome. Before Thanos nerf, i was playing all month long a location control-esque Thanos list running legion, quake, storm and negasonic, i was having WAY more fun with that deck than the meta thanos list and i had the winrate of the regular thanos list. So underrated and undervalued. Great pick.
I've actually been LOVING quake. Storm a location with a card like nebula down at another location, and boom you just straight up win a location by turn 4. Add the crazy red hulk and other synergies like doom and ms marvel, and you get my new age control deck. Amazing

US Agent's previous effect was more in line with his character. he is powerful when standing alone and once you pair him with other characters, his identity is revealed and he gets weaker

4.Silver Samurai (not that much now, but in the Thanos Tirany, he was really good at discarding their Blob)

Seeing Morph in the new Xmen cartoon has me wanting a card similar to Nico where each turn it cycles. Except in this case maybe it goes down and randomly changes to a new card each turn. Complete random and unsure what it could turn into but it would be pretty interesting.
Mailbag: What you think about the idea of add .5 power to the game (as a buff not probably a solid starting number) . It seems the difference of +1 power can make or break some cards. So why not meet in the middle. Random example is Angela gaining 1.5 power instead of 1 power or 2 and werewolf by night 1.5 instead of 2 and lower his cost back . Or dark hawk/blob/knull gets .5 power per _______. Not saying all of these need that but it's an example of balancing some of these cards that literally 1 power means the difference between a underperformed card, and a broken card.
Only reason I don’t like US Agent is cause dropping a 6 down 3 power makes them unable to be hit by Shang chi which is clearly just better if they have that much power to begin with
20:07 okay here's the big difference between Man Thing and USAgent. With Man Thing you require the cards you're also trying to bring down. The deck is fine it's just way hard to pilot and people don't want to. I play a lot of a low cost Havok deck. It's great. That kind of deck would love something to help bring the power down on cards that don't grow in power. You throw Shang-Chi , Shadow King, and this guy in a lower cost deck and you would be suprised how good it will be. You guys talk about the Sera deck. This will be better value in there and Spectrum. But hey, I could eat my words. I'll await the brutally honest review.
My god! Now I understand why they made warlock to a 5 cost. Because they were going to add Barom Zemo. Warlock can counter zemo mill because it gives you more chances to draw cards before you are milled if warlock stayed 2 cost!
My concept for thanos...
Thanos 10/6 (Starts at the left of your hand shuffles and shuffles stones into deck/hand)
Space stone: On reveal move a random card to this location and give it +1 power. Draw a card (after played merge with Thanos, -1 cost and +1 power to thanos )
Reality Stone: On reveal transform into a new location and draw a card (after played merge, -1 cost and +1 power to thanos)
Time stone: on reveal Draw a card and give it -1 cost (merge for -1 cost and +1 power)
Mind stone: On reveal draw 2 1cost cards (merge for -1 cost and +1 power)
Power stone: On reveal Draw a card that isn't a stone and give it 1 power. (merges for -1 cost and + 2power)
Souls stone: On reveal -1 power to all cards in this lane (merges with thanos, -1 cost and gives thanos the ongoing ability off -1 power to all enemy cards in this lane)
Thanos could get down to a 4/16 if his soul stone ability is hitting 4 enemy cards. Then with the +2 from the space and power stones to other cards thanos power would equal 18 but you'd have to play 6 cards. That wouldn't be counting if the soul stone effect any cards before merging with thanos which could get up to 22 power

I think colossus should have the Jeff effect where nothing can prevent him from being played at a location along with his other abilities, but then you don’t have the flexibility of moving him.

Can’t currently play the silky smooth Angela decks as I didn’t pick up kitty or Elsa and am currently playing a c2 build. It’s doing very well! Goose and shadow king are carrying me against all the red hulk and Angela right now, and I even hit top 100 infinite!

Glenn has spoken before about the struggles they have with statting Colossus at the same ability but higher cost. Consider what you need to go through with Black Knight to produce an unkillable dude over 10 power...
I like the idea of the stones directly interacting with Thanos. Like the space stone is a warmachine/jeff effect for him, maybe the reality turns a location into space throne?
re: Colossus. What about something like 5/10 with Ongoing: Can't be destroyed. Can't be moved. Can't have cost increased. I think that fits the character pretty well. I know the numbers don't always line up with the comics, but Colossus should not be a wimpy little 3 power guy.
My bold take is that quicksilver could be a 1/4 and domino a 2/5. That way they could be more of 'priority grabbing' cards in the early game at the cost of reducing the chance of drawing a card you want. Which is a pretty big downside to warrant better stats IMO
My fix for Watu. Something like you get a +1 or +2 power on him if you have him on the board before turn 3 and your opponent plays on the 3rd board before it reveals. Each card they play there before the reveal gives the added power.

I like the idea of Captain America having some sort of ‘shielding’ ability given his character and overall role as a tank-like avenger.

Buff to Werewolf - yes and we should have been called for this at the start of the year. I can literally count the number of times I’ve seen him since the nerf on two hands. Take him back to three cost and reduce his power
Just gonna throw this out there, US Agent opens up the possibility of Iron Lad for Cerebro 3, if you drop IL on US Agent he drops to 3 and boom. Relevant. Same with Stegron. The deck practically builds itself.
Balanced Buff ideas:
If they Buff Captain America they should buff punisher as well.
Have Stegron move the last card in a location. It would even be questionable like aero if you don’t have priority.
Make Uatu guaranteed not the be drawn in your opening hand. Like old American Chavez which is not that broken for a 1 cost.

First off, he must have 0 power because he must not intervene. This sacrifices a card slot and a board slot just to see the enemy's top deck which is maybe too good but Loki can kinda do this, Howard is kinda like this but it sucks, so maybe it still is not good. But itll be more usable this way

Colossus as a 3/6 indestructible would be great for surfer/Wong decks, he could blow up big and occupy a lane like vomir. Shang chi proof and large
