I am not informed about the economic situation of rhapsody, nor if anyone of their presententions have what i'll mention so forgive my ignorice and hopefully someone will correct me, but having in mind they are legends of power metal and epic metal, they could get violins and a chorus behind, i say this because i see lives of spanish bands of folk metal and/or power metal (wich for some reason aren't as heard even when they have really good songs) like mago de oz, saurom o rata blanca and even in this context of mainly spanish public they still get chorus, violins if needed or even an orchresta like mago de oz in diabulus in opera. It's not hate to this band, because i've been loving them, but i think, if money allows it, that they could get better performances with actual chorus, violin and orchrestra behind.
No symphonic metal band really does that tho...Nightwish is the most famous I'd say (they also have a lot more $$$ than Rhapsody), but still they don't do that. BTW bringing a whole orchestra on a tour must be crazy expensive. Some bands like Epica do some shows with an orchestra, but in a single venue, just once (or maybe 2 nights in a row if they sold out the first). They'll do that again next fall: 2 nights in the Nederlands and 2 nights in Latin America.
@@marcodambrosio4711 i imagine it must be crazy and expensive. I just e joy alot the clean sound. Altho most of the bands i hear that use orchestra tend to just get a local one and work with it, but it still would need alot of planification 😵💫
@@Ka4ri1 that'd be really difficult to do every day on a tour with a different orchestra...they'd need to learn they parts, rehears together...nowadays tours have less and less day offs to minimize expenses. At first the heavy backing tracks pulled me off a lot, and somehow still does it a bit, but I also kinda accept this is the way this genre is, live. For rhapsody they're a very special band to me, one of my first metal band, and I reckon Staropoli as a great composer, so I still enjoy them studio and go to see them as much as I can (Giacomo is such a nice addition to them also, IMHO), but for instance my favorite band (Opeth) doesn't use ANY kind of baking track, not even clicks and stuff like that, and everything you hear on stage, one human makes it, and it's one of the reason why they're my absolute fave 😄
Rhapsody Of Fire got a.friendly break up. Now there's this band, with Alex Staropoli (keyboards) as the only original member remaining, while Luca Turilli and Fabio Lione made their own band.
@@Grzesiek4Ever @Félix Escobedo A butthurt Fabio fan I see. So let's also call Angra, Whitesnake, ACDC, Megadeth etc. As cover bands since they only have one original member left and let's not forget Heart, Judas Priest, STYX and Deep Purple to name a few with no original members left. And bitch please Fabio can no longer sing he lost his voice already so why bring him back if there's someone sound better who could sing those songs and another thing Rhapsody of Fire is Alex Staropoli's baby he's the original member and the main song writer of the band.
Their best songs Warrior of Ice
Fantástico

Awesome
its funny because lione and luca play this song the same year in others countrys
Good singer
ITts wierd that they seem to be playing with so much backing track that it seems they are just playing over the original studio song.
Buen diskiyo
Soa como uma banda cover de barzinho......Lamentável o que Alex Staropoli fez com a banda.....RIP Rhapsody....

What is this? A cover band?
?

With Lione and Turilli gone, Rhapsody of Fire pretty much became a cover band.
