He was fine when the challenge was just to beat Legend Mode (The vast majority of those 250hrs in the Wii U version were spent perfecting Adventure Mode and getting everybody up to the level cap). He was doomed the second Bill upped the ante and threw in an Adventure Map, and Bill was just being a sadist when he picked what is easily the worst map for jerking you around with item card scarcity (specifically the three transformation masks.)

When you said "game" i thought you meant you beat the challenge and a sigh of relief overcame me. I was like "And that's how the Completionist does it! What!" But then you said you didnt complete the challenge and suddenly my demanor changed. I went from pride to glee cause I was curious on what you would look like in a tingle outfit. And boy howdy was I not disappointed. I hope you will find the time to do a completionist video for Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition. I know it will be tough and probably an absolute slog as the journey goes on, but I like your perapective on games and i know hyrule warriors is one of the few games I plan on "completing" simply because i love the style of the game and the world of LoZ. This was definitely worth sitting down for 10 minutes of entertainment. Keep up the great work Jirard. You're doing great buddy. You and your team.

I bought this game for Wii U, and it was pretty great. Then, I went to Target, and found what looked like the sequel to Hyrule Warriors, called Hyrule Warriors Legends, for the 3DS. Except it wasn't a sequel. It was a port with a bit more stuff. I'm still gonna buy it a third time.
Legends and the Definitive edition are a smack in the face to early adopters of the Wii U version like us. You shouldn't have supported their business practices no offense.

@Jin kisaragi I have both (HW on 3DS and FEW on Switch) and I think they're both really solid. Hyrule Warriors in particular has more fan service for Zelda fans. Each character has a unique playstyle (no clones) and some even have multiple weapons to choose from. (Link has 7). There is also a lot more content in this game, though that's because it comes bundled with two season passes worth of DLC. (Wii U and 3DS). You can also fight "Giant Bosses" based on ones from past Zelda games. They're a lot like Velezark in FEW, but much more fun to fight, in my opinion. The drawbacks are that it doesn't have the improved mechanics from FEW. You can switch between playable characters during a mission in Definitive Edition, but you can't Pair characters up together. The Weapon Triangle system is also not present and you can't force out an enemy's weak point gauge with C4. Characters you're not playing will also not kill captains like they do in FEW. You can command them to go to specific points on the map, but you always need to control them yourself to kill enemies or get experience. Other than that, I highly recommend HW:DE if you enjoy Musou games.
Mark Haynes I didn't bought it earlyer because it was just a spinoff , since i really lked FE warriors i guess i pick it up this time. A lot of fan service sounds good , Zelda is my favourite franchise afterall , also Skullkid is playable so thats a huge plus in my book.
@Jin kisaragi Yeah. Skull Kid is a really fun character to play. Though unfortunately because of his late inclusion, they gave the Majora's Moon attack to the Great Fairy weapon instead of him. A pretty glaring oversight on Koei Tecmo's part.

That would have wasted more time than it was worth, the amiibo can't give you things you haven't unlocked yet, so it would only have been good for a bunch of low level weapons and materials, and a small sum of rupees compared to what he earned through actually playing the game.

Man, I can't wait to play this. I'm curious if it still has the fairy companions from the 3DS version, though I wouldn't be too disappointed if it doesn't.

WiiAndii This version has all the content from both the Wii U and 3DS versions. That's reason enough for me to (eventually) buy it again.
