      @@wasssuuuppp He might be but he comes across like he's defending the owners actions. I didnt watch the clip BUT I did listen to the entire episode on patreon...he gets on Saleh for sticking up for Hackett and not LaFleur. It was a stupid take. People complain about Zack and Tim on this network but this take by WIll was dumb.

    Mekhi Becton was a good player until he got injured. Then the Jet training staff didn't give him proper treatment so he was out for two seasons instead of one. Subscribed and hit the like button.

    Even if you excuse the rest of this (which would be kinda nuts) the Mike White stuff is so inexcusable it’s downright gross. It’s bad enough that Woody goes and allows his children into an NFL locker room in any regularity, but to do it after a brutal loss and have an outburst on an injured backup QB? It’s disgraceful behavior.
    If any Jets player had done that, he’d be labeled a cancer to the team and vilified. But for an owner who hasn’t ever played a lick of football to say crap like that is even worse.
    There’s an odd tendency to treat owners with kid gloves while also giving them free rein to do whatever they want because they own the team. It goes both ways, if they are the king the buck stops with them, period.

    • @PeterAllen09
      @PeterAllen09 Месяц назад +1

      The buck stops with people that can be held accountable. It's difficult to hold the billionaire owner accountable, other than by not going to games and publicly humiliating him.

      I think the real take away is Woody, to at least some extent, is listening to his teenage children. A Jets spokesperson admitted exactly that. Almost certainly, those kids play a lot of Madden

    Hopefully they lock in Vrabel, that would be a step in the right direction; maybe that would hush up the haters and skeptics. And for goodness sake Woody, keep the kids out of the locker room; they don’t belong there!!!

    Your takes are way better than some other Jet YTers, whom I like, but I disagree with the idea that some of this isn’t Woody’s fault. The bottom line is he hasn’t hired the right people or created an environment where they could be successful

    I do think some of the stuff like the Madden stuff he brought up as a joke and it’s clear people who got let go are using it as a way to make him look worse. Woody has not been good but this article is good in the sense that hopefully it humbled him to get out of the way and let the football guys do there job.

    I believe Woody definitely wants to win but something about our organization seems cursed. Perhaps the rumors are true that Namath sold his soul for a SB! As a fan for over 40 years I just don't understand the string of bad luck that our team has. I think Vrabel or Flores would be a disaster down here. Although we need someone who commands respect the lack of personality between those two candidates would be a major issue in handling the media and Woody. I don't believe that Gleen (loved him as a player) is that good of a coach just yet, the Lions give up a lot of points to me and I believe that he needs a little more experience. I personally would like someone like Chucky (Gruden), he makes sense to me. We need someone who can mentor and develop a franchise QB. He's intelligent, creative and to me has enough personality to handle Mr. Johnson and the media. He also has a huge chip on his shoulders since being booted out of the league. At the end of the day we are one of the worse organizations in all of sports! That is reality!!! I would always support my Jets because I love them and they are my team forever but would we ever win a SB and reach the mountain top?! Only God knows.

    This isn't complex.
    Woody is historically bad at making football decisions.
    Woody wants to be involved even though he's not qualified.
    He only hires people who will bend the knee.
    The team suffers, fingers are pointed at everyone but Woody, new staff, same issues, rinse and repeat, 1/4 century strong of the same behavior.
    NOTHING WILL CHANGE UNTIL HE TURNS OVER 100% OF DECISION MAKING
