- Natasha Shneider. A genius that made me realise who I am. 11 years today since she passed. I´ve been waiting for today since 2015 when on the exact same date I wrote and recorded the song „Natasha“ at her own home 11AD studio - Los Angeles. The story behind it is just crazy. For years It was my life dream to meet Alain Johannes (Natasha´s husband and genius banmate) and tell him how much their music with ELEVEN changed everything for me also with Chris Coprnell´s „Euphoria Morning“ they´ve recorded and composed with him at the exact same place. I remember crossing the doorstep of 11 AD. I´ve felt such a strong spiritual connection - like if it was always there.And I´ve felt obrace. I knew I´m at the right place. It was so intense. My band Stroy made our LIKE IT OR NOT EP there in 7 days. Composed and recorded mostly live. The song I wrote for Natasha 2nd July 2015 is actually about her own voice speaking to Alain. My brain told me I have no right to do this, but my soul told me otherwise. I admire Alain for pushing a record button on his cell phone at the porch where we were sitting and letting me compose the whole thing as it is. He was just smoking cigarette and watching the evening sky. Time to time he just said „beautiful“ - that´s exactly chat the moment was. I played the song on a small string instrument called „cigarbox“. It´s the one Alain used for his own solo record „Spark“. The next day I recorded it live and added some more vocals and indian harmonium after. While recording it I remember myself literally shaking and feeling invisible bright light all around me. A small ray of real light was falling at the paper with lyrics throught the Windows the whole time...
Today I´ve finished this small picture of Natasha. Listening to Eleven and her music during drawing it I´ve realised again how deeply it touches me and how thankful I am that I´m able to hear this. I´m really blessed. We all are. Thank you Natasha for your musical bravery and honesty and for giving me chance to compose this song and draw this picture for you. I promise you one day people will appreciate your genius much more. I´ll try to carry the torch for sure. Making honest and free music is the most beautiful price I can pay for you and Alain letting me experience once in a lifetime miracle.

Natasha Shneider. Nevim ani kde začít. Dnes je to 11 let, co zemřela na rakovinu a zanechala po sobě manžela a spoluhráče kultovní a pro mě absolutně zásadní kapely ELEVEN Alain Johannes. Jejich muzika pro mě znamená tolik, že to nedokážu popsat. Je to nejnedoceněnější kapela, kterou znám. Pro mě absolutní strop a dokud budu dejchat, chci šířit jejich odkaz, co to půjde. Na to navazuje další věc. Můj největší sen, meta, co jsem kdy měl, bylo dostat se k nim do domácího studia 11AD v Los Angeles a dělat s Alainem muziku. Jak někteří víte, v roce 2015 jsme tam natočili EP Like It Or Not. Splnění tohohle snu mě utvrdilo v tom, že upřímnost a tvůrčí svoboda, kterou tyhle dva lidi měli, je něco, čemu jsem a musím být dál věrnej tím, co sám dělám. Je to nejkrásnější cena, kterou můžu za ten zázrak zaplatit. Během toho jednoho týdne, co jsme v LA byli, jsem 2. července na výročí Natašina úmrtí sedl s Alainem na terasu jejich domu, on si zapálil cigáro, vytáhl diktafon a já na jeho Cigarbox složil píseň Nataša. Je o tom, že mu ona sama vzkazuje, že je stále nablízku. Obdivuju ho za to, že mi dovolil zanést do písně takhle osobní rovinu. Mozek mi to nedovoloval, ale duše se nebránila. Když jsem tu věc natáčel, na text mi svítil proužek světla z okna. Třásl jsem se po celým těle a věděl jsem, že Nataša je tam se mnou. Dneska je ten den, kdy je správný, aby ta věc spatřila světlo věta s klipem. Klip je Natašin portrétík, kterej jsem dokreslil před hodinou. Snažil jsem se trefit to, co měla v očích, protože za mě to na celej "klip" vystačí. Protože co měla v očích, měla i v hudbě.
Děkuju Ti Natašo za nekonečnou inspiraci, za odvahu dělat věci tak, jak je cítím a za to, žes mě nechala u sebe doma natočit písničku a zažít tak malej zázrak.
