My god, this album has been absent from my life for far too long. In case anyone is interested, Don Giovanni Records released a 10th anniversary pressing in honor of the original vinyl's release.
dude what are you talking about. dookie is not punk. its shit pop punk. this is decent pop punk. the best punk rock album is guaranteed got to be damaged by black flag or fugazi's self titled ep.
saw em live all the way out in California in the oh somethings. Outstanding opening set for mc chris, unfailing energy and just a great night out. Thanks guys
+Fuckshit.Stack I'd say the skill of song writing is way more important to good pop music than the skill of playing instruments. Especially when it comes to pop punk (who listens to this stuff for that?).
Holy balls why is this album 50 bucks?? I wanted to pick up a hard copy... Jesus its good, but 50 bucks??? Two different sites...Even on second spin wtf?!
*>10 years, no one was playing metal in the 40s, and both genres have influenced each other. Now both of you stop being all butch and macho about it and listen to the god damn music you like.
Metal always was, is, and always shall be influenced from punk, so without punk there would be no metal. and don't compare punk or metal to the Jonas bros, that Disney shit needs to end.
No kissing that would make it gay dude what the fuck, last night balls deep in some guy turned around to kiss me, he must a thought I was homosexual or something
One of my Top 50 all time records. Sounds like weak praise, but it's of the highest and honest. Wish i'd have gotten to see 'em live... but I was doing my own touring thing at the time, haha.
kind hearted dudes, they got booked by a back country swamp in sussex county, by a bird watcher genius dude, Amanda? and co., there the Ergs! played the hits and covered Minor Threat, I tossed cookies, the floor was naked I thrashed good-heartedly all around. Probably the best close to home show I ever was at, thanks to the ERGS!. This album is without doubt, classic.

@@herbynoble8865 grow up
This version of the album cover features the inanimate carbon rod character from The Simpsons, changed to a generic rod on later issues of the album.

criminally unrecognized band
I feel honored to know about this band.
My new favorite album, it's best to just listen to the full album at once....Like one long song.
Melts together perfectly.
Soooo true. Best advice.

2019 still one of the best punk albums of all time
My god, this album has been absent from my life for far too long. In case anyone is interested, Don Giovanni Records released a 10th anniversary pressing in honor of the original vinyl's release.
I remember when these guys used to play old bridge high school. Back then they went by the chazzwazzers.
One of the best band pop punk of the XXI century, togheter with masked intruder or teenage bottlerocket
Oh and screeching weasels gotta be in that list
@@austind6546 of course, but they are an 80's band
How fucking great is this
Best punkrock album since Dookie
+Jabi Sanchez yup, you said it right der.
dude what are you talking about. dookie is not punk. its shit pop punk. this is decent pop punk. the best punk rock album is guaranteed got to be damaged by black flag or fugazi's self titled ep.

Hi Harvey, I was born in 1981, I'm 35 now and 13 when Dookie came out.
That was directed towards lil doug campbell.

Reminds me of Milo from Descendents
Amazing album, glad I bought it.
Don't play his games. This is the darkest, grimmest black metal ever to come out of the east aoast
agreed fucking love the ergs man
i feel like the ergs were a successful pop punk band because they were actually good at their instruments
+Fuckshit.Stack I'd say the skill of song writing is way more important to good pop music than the skill of playing instruments. Especially when it comes to pop punk (who listens to this stuff for that?).
+AgentNein ya I realized reading this just now that this was one of those things I just decided to say but not think about. u right
+Fuckshit.Stack well, instruments reflect the mood of the song while lyrics define what it is.
***** ok bud.
The solos really do add a lot
Great album. Their sound reminds me a lot of Doc Hopper
I feel bad for not discover this before.
Okay, strong Replacement influence.

No it's not...it's punk. I'm aware of this.
That's okay, we can take it slow if you want.
