Next video idea: The walkspeed limits of Roblox. I have experimented this in a game called Noob Train, and here were my findings. ~1000 walkspeed: This is the first appearance of the "slope bug" where at abnormally high walk speeds, the character will be flung when it goes off a slope. It's pretty minor currently. ~10000 walkspeed: Your character will be flung after hitting a block and you'd fly about 2000 studs up with the slope bug. And NO, the slope bug is not caused by jump height. ~50000 walkspeed. Nothing new except an increase in the slope bug. We are going to do a BIG JUMP. 9223372036854775808 walkspeed. This is 2^63 walkspeed and causes the bug where you can't move at all. It's not done. 3.23170060 × 10^616 walkspeed. This is where I discovered the weirdest bug ever. First of all, there's a large delay for moving and you move at 16 walkspeed. Second, and more interestingly, every 3 seconds of walking, your character will die and then teleport back and stop for a second? It's really weird.
being real i dont think theres enough interesting shit to do a video on that. also the reason it breaks at that number with your walkspeed is actually bc everything outside of the normal floating point number range gets converted to either infinity or nan, nan is what breaks it.

I appreciate your efforts, but there's catch. In the UI instance, there are many different ways a player's screen can be displayed based on the number of pixels it contains. However, the more big the screen is, the more pixels it has. But since there are unlimited sizes of screen, there are unlimited pixels. Therefore, wouldn't there be an infinite roblox games that can exist @tristantheoofer2? I'm just wondering. (Sorry if my grammar is bad, im just an asian nerd lol)

also i think the last number is wrong, 4.7781530453008*10^9 is about 4.7 billion. if all digits are whole numbers it would be about 10^14 (or 477 trillion, in that case the number would be about 477 terillion)
what about modulescripts, it's just a couple of characters in a script : ex "require(0000000)" but can be as giant as a script, and there could be an infinite loop of module scripts
bro you are underrated, and deserve more views and subscribers. EDIT: also your number should be larger because games can sell gamepasses and gears (i think) on their store page, and can also have badges and dev products. so actually there are many different games with the same instances, but with different things. also im pretty sure theres a game settings 💀. so yeah it seems to be pretty large.
multiplication is when you have 2 seperate things you need to combine. exponents are for 2 exact copies of a thing, and factorials i believe is when you can layer those exact copies of things
Oh yeah, combinatorics analysis! I wonder if we would ever play all of this games. Also, on the future, roblox may become a full 64 bit game and thus, the limit would be 2^64 on addressing.
Tristan I just realised that technically it's not the answer at the end... Cause to ask how many roblox games could exist in theory is like asking how many universes are there (and yes the multiverse theory is false I was just using it as an example) but anyway Technically you only did every possibility for stuff in studio. However to find out the TRUE limit of how many games there could be... You would have to figure out how many possibilities there could be when that thing is placed onto the baseplate. And keep in mind you can move it around... Take 1 blue stud. However many studs in a straight line to the point where roblox crashes would be the possibilities for that stud in that one direction. Then you'd have to calculate every possibility for that stud in every place within the 3D space, so basically in every direction possible until roblox crashes. And that is for 1 stud. Then make 2 of them and do the process again. Then 3. Then 4. And so on. After you've done it for that singular type of stud, then do that process for every single thing that can be imported as an actual thing into the world (e.g light, stud, seat and etc) and then once you've gotten that answer, then add it into the original one in this video... If you need any help understanding what I'm trying to say, you can contact me via discord of you like lol.
Actually there is a way to sorta give context to that number, 10^10^10^56 years is the estimated amount of time it will take for the universe to literally reset itself.
Well wenn calculating the scripts possibilities wouldnt you need the take the Factorial (!) Of said number to account for any soloution that might have less than the max number?

Bro did mathematics with harvard university's equations 💀💀💀 (its a joke)
Beware:Evertime a new player joins there will be a new game generated
the number accounts for all of that bc its theoretical, not actual
I thought you are going to count how many games Roblox can hold. 😅
nope lmao i went theoretical
It just took one game to crash the roblox platform. Keep that in mind everyone.
tbf it did also take it getting to 1 million concurrent players to do that
Call the number a robloplex instead, rolls off the tongue better
being real thats also valid :P
I appreciate your efforts, but there's catch. In the UI instance, there are many different ways a player's screen can be displayed based on the number of pixels it contains. However, the more big the screen is, the more pixels it has. But since there are unlimited sizes of screen, there are unlimited pixels. Therefore, wouldn't there be an infinite roblox games that can exist @tristantheoofer2? I'm just wondering. (Sorry if my grammar is bad, im just an asian nerd lol)
already accounted for that and no it isnt infinite :P
Can you explain why? Cause I cant really see your post (sorry for being annoying
so even if screen sizes are potentially infinite, the options for the scaling are NOT infinite which is what we're accounting for.
My brain became a smoothie
Thanks for the video, this video was Amazing and thanks for the drink fr
uh no problem i guess lmao
it actually makes my blood boil realize that stuff like "skibidi toilet" can get millions and billions of views, meanwhile this dude calculated a number that makes googolplex look like a 1 compared to a quintillion and he only gets 14k views and not even 1k likes
i mean tbf youtube is finally recommending the vid so its getting some nice attention now :P but yea i dont understand it either bc like... why the hell is skibidi toilet a thing???
@@tristantheoofer2 im still trying to understand what "skibidi rizz" means
@@Earth_Luna same. i know rizz means charisma but wtf is a skibidi
@@tristantheoofer2 same i also know rizz means charisma
Still trying to figure out baby gronk rizzing up livvy dune 💀💀💀💀
That number is wrong because I just made a new game 😁 just put a about then it would be right
... nah because its theoretical. your game already exists within this theoretical number lol
Wdym?
"He used calculators on this, right?"
“Right?”💀
lmao real (even tho i used wolfram alpha for this lol)
Bro just did math better then half of the teachers in the world 💀
Bro , you make the best interesting content in the world , i can understand that you've been very harworking and you deserve a robloxplex more views than you have!!!!
lol yea this video took an entire month to make. and thank you :D
Your video has same feeling as videos about TTLP or geometry dash section.
Fr, both about googlelogy
idk what ttlp is but cool
The amount of roblox games that can exist is how much subs this guy deserves 💯
You're way too underrated because some people upload videos which take only like less than 2 days to make and get hundreds of thousands of views while you make a video taking a month and only gets less than 20k views (also I didn't even realize before this that some people put so much effort on their videos)
lol tysm :D i thought abt the question before and was like "yk what i wanna make a vid on it" so anyone else that has that question can have it answered (mostly, as i accidentally forgot a few things)
I can already tell I'm gonna love seeing a video of yours pop up in my sub box. I love hearing big numbers and convincing myself I understand.
lmao im fairly convinced most of my subs watch me because of this. tysm ^^
ten to the ten to the ten to the ten to the ten
if you account for the number of possible scripts that can be written then there's basically an infinite amount of roblox games
even though I don't play roblox a lot, this vid is actually intresting
An infinite amount of parts can be in one position, so actually there are infintie possibilities
wrong because the parts positioning system relies on floating point which only has 2^32 options per axis
Summary. Average daily usage: Users spend 2.5 hours daily on Roblox. Number of games: Roblox has over 40 million user-generated games. User base: Roblox has over 56 million daily active users.Oct
i thought there are 1,114,111 unicode characters since U+10FFFF is the last one
also where did you get the actual name of the number from
no there isnt :P theres only 149878 that are actually usable. also for your question: googology and illion rules :P
@@tristantheoofer2 by usable do you mean the ones that are used for something, you can copy u-10ffff on unicode explorer and the last used one that i found was 2EBE0
“Have you ever asked a question that sounded like it would have a pretty simple answer? But then, when you thought about it a little more you were like… ‘huh’ ‘theres actually a lot more to this than I expected there to be’?”
Yeah. I have. Why am I still single?
honestly i ask myself that sometimes as well lol
Okay, but how many games can exist before Roblox systems stop functioning?
i love math but jesus fucking christ man.
i wish i had your dedication and motivation for stuff i need to do /g
this is legit the best fucking content ever, keep up the amazing work
lol ty it took me like a month to do all the math
didnt understand a single thing except its a big number
being real i didnt understand an insane amount of the math either lol. i just knew how to calculate it all out and talk about that and what i used
The minecraftplex got nothing on the robloxplex.
honestly fr. even a googolplex doesnt have shit on a robloxplex lmao
me like big number
0:07 POV: you hit your funny bone
LOL
came for an roblox video ended with an existential crisis
Oh... I think you forgot GUIs... Calculate everything again 😡
He calculated the scripts which the GUI was created. I think
... no i didnt. literally theres an entire damn spreadsheet i made that calculates practically everything :P
What about the title of the game/ description and thumbnail, and things you can upload from blender, etc @@tristantheoofer2
There's a lot of possibilities and still there's people copying another people's games... INCREDIBLE
yup. because copies of games with the EXACT same titles can exist (which i ofc did not account for)
first number is already 17 nanilliduononagintaquingentamicrillioctotrigintanongentamillitrigintaquadringentillion tf
second number is 2.4 sexnanillinovensexagintatrecentamicrilliquinseptuagintacentimillioctononagintaquadringentillion
third number is over a fucking GIGILLION
Gigillion: 10^(3nanillion3)
the final number is 10^gigillion. holy fuck.
absolutely amazing video.
i’m not sure about the last number though lmao
holy shit you know way more abt this googlogy shit than me lol. also thank you :D
also i think the last number is wrong, 4.7781530453008*10^9 is about 4.7 billion. if all digits are whole numbers it would be about 10^14 (or 477 trillion, in that case the number would be about 477 terillion)
@MinusNC wait what the fuck how much is a terrillion
@@tristantheoofer210^3picillion3 / 10^10^3billion3 if the numbers are correct
what about modulescripts, it's just a couple of characters in a script : ex "require(0000000)" but can be as giant as a script, and there could be an infinite loop of module scripts
same as scripts and it barely changes the number: im probs gonna make a video about the stuff i missed tho
@@tristantheoofer2I believe there could "theoretically" be an infinite loop of module scripts and I doubt it would break at 2147483647
My brain cannot keep up with these numbers 💀
dw mine was fried while making the video lol so i think were in the same boat here
If there was a robot to randomly generate these games. You might as well call it: "Library of Robloxel"
dude thats actually such a good name. idk how to code it tho
bro you are underrated, and deserve more views and subscribers.
EDIT: also your number should be larger because games can sell gamepasses and gears (i think) on their store page, and can also have badges and dev products. so actually there are many different games with the same instances, but with different things. also im pretty sure theres a game settings 💀. so yeah it seems to be pretty large.
yea i know that now and am probs gonna make a correction video :P
How do you know if (when calculating combinations) if you need to use Multiplication, Exponation, or addition (maybe factorials sometimes)?
multiplication is when you have 2 seperate things you need to combine. exponents are for 2 exact copies of a thing, and factorials i believe is when you can layer those exact copies of things
@@tristantheoofer2 It's just, when calculating possibilities or combinations, how do you know when you need to use one of those? 🙂
I LOVE THISSS WATCHED EVERYTHING
tysm my man :D
Oh yeah, combinatorics analysis! I wonder if we would ever play all of this games. Also, on the future, roblox may become a full 64 bit game and thus, the limit would be 2^64 on addressing.
if the limit was changed to a double and not a float that would be fuckin awesome but also a bit sad at the same time
How about calling it "Roplex"? It has a better ring to it in my opinion.
thats also perfectly valid. if you wanna call it a roplex go ahead
Imagine if it was 64 bit instead of 32
oh god i dont even want to
L video (im nuking the discord)
what
Ok
Hmm.... what if the parts continued even after the video ended????
idk we would be at the same number i think
Tristan I just realised that technically it's not the answer at the end... Cause to ask how many roblox games could exist in theory is like asking how many universes are there (and yes the multiverse theory is false I was just using it as an example) but anyway
Technically you only did every possibility for stuff in studio.
Actually there is a way to sorta give context to that number, 10^10^10^56 years is the estimated amount of time it will take for the universe to literally reset itself.
goddamn and robloxplex is smaller than that lmao (not by an insane amount tho, just abt 47 orders of magnitude). thats insane
would a robloxplex just be infinity?
nah it wouldnt bc infinity is quite literally impossible to get for ANYTHING. and no 10^10^10^&9.67 is NOT infinite lmao
it's still practically infinity
You should've called it roplex
i mean you can call it that if you want :P both names are valid
This is amazing
What is the music at 6:33 ?
I hear it at the end of my ASMR videos.
Well wenn calculating the scripts possibilities wouldnt you need the take the Factorial (!) Of said number to account for any soloution that might have less than the max number?
Tbh I thinl this number would be much smaller in reality because many of these games couldn’t be crated as you probably coun’t give all of them an id
thats assuming thats not an issue
