Welcome to geology 101 from an 1890 textbook in the video narration. Modern results: Glaciers just carry away loose rocks/boulders. If glaciers grind into the rock to form canyons, why are rocks polished (glacial polish) where a glacier has been? When you polish your car, does the buffer grind the paint off down to bare metal? Rivers, streams, follow cracks in the earth that are formed by uplifting earth movement. "By eroding sediment from uplifted areas and creating landforms made of deposited sediment in lower areas". courses.lumenlearning.com/geo/chapter/reading-types-of-streams-and-rivers/
