Jimin has been a professional singer and dancer since 2013 when he debuted with BTS. As a child/teen he trained in martial arts, classical and modern dance.
K-pop is an industry that contracts and trains young artists and releases mvs and music, not a music genre. Some artists are pop, some are hip hop, some are a mix of genres like BTS. Jimin and BTS are South Korean, the bulk of their (huge) discography is in Korean with an occasional bit of English or English song. Official MVs have English subtitles. They are known for meaningful lyrics, fans seek out the translations or make fan made videos with subs titles. All seven members also release solo albums or songs. This song is off Jimin's new album, Muse. 💜

We understand that there are still people who are not familiar with these South Korean artists. But these young men JIMIN and JUNGKOOK ( JK ) are from a world famous South Korean group called BTS. They have been bridging that gap between American artists and music since their debut in 2013. The group is 7 , 3 rappers and 4 singers. They have had colabs with WALE , USHER, LOTTO, CHARLIE Puth , COLDPLAY, Jack Harlow, J COLE , and WARREN G, they have worked hard on improving their English so they can better connect emotionally with their western cultured fans,which are in the millions. And we appreciate and support their efforts. Thank you for giving this a listen. Hi, yes he is one of 7 members of the biggest group globally Bts. They all speak a bit of english but RM the leader of the group is fluent in english. I have never considered them Kpop for they don't fit in that box, only that they're Korean. They cover many genres of music and write and produce most of there extensive discography. Kpop is not a genre it's more a label given to the system all groups go through for years before they debut. I would say Bts are Artist more than Idols, which is what they are all called. Glad you gave Jimin a chance and gave "Who" a listen. All the members have solo work and I am sure you'll find many you will like. Jin will be coming out with his first solo album soon. He just finished his mandatory military service. The other 6 members are still serving and will be out June 2025. Enjoy the rest of your day...✌💜

This song isn't kpop, it's just pop. But he does have kpop/Korean songs (Like Crazy - his #1 hit, and Set Me Free Pt.2 - hip hop bop).
Jimin is known as the King of Kpop, Stage Master, the "It Boy", etc. He's a very talented (singer, dancer (best in kpop industry), songwriter, producer and a godly performer) and very versatile artist. I'm glad you liked his music. He's a superb artist, and so is his group - BTS! I laughed so hard when you said "maybe he's someone from BTS" because he is 😂

@@EverythingNoNiche the only other two songs that have official music videos are Like Crazy and Set Me Free Pt.2 (some have fan made, but they are bad IMHO). If you want a reaction to post for other songs, you can try fan made lyrics videos (translations). The best channel for these would be *Zaty Farhani* with the accurate translations.

yes he is from BTS but you have to know that BTS is diffrent from other kpop that you have heard about. first they take inspiration from amarican singers and rapper when they write their songs. and yes they write and produce most of their songs. this is actually the only sng jimin didnt write himself because he can´t speak english but he has taken classes but he is not at all fluent so he talked to an amarican producer and showed him this song and asked them to write the lyrics that he wanted to conway. they also perfected the song. also he choreografed his own dance and everything.
other kpop is given a song by the label to sing so that is why they are called idols not artists, but BTS is all artists.
His from BTS... they mix korean and english but is not a second lenguage...
They are Global and try to be more understanding for they huge fans ARMY in the World...

he is a member of the BTS group, he doesn’t speak English at all, in their group only their leader RM knows English, now all of them except Jin (he is the eldest) who recently returned from service, are serving in the army, and will return in the summer of 2025 and reunite

I wouldn't say Jimin doesn't speak English at all...at least they all do try just not as fluent as RM.
He does know some English as do the other members, but RM is the fluent English speaker.

Some BTS songs to start with are Black Swan & Fake Love if you’re interested :) There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists in the group. Their names are RM, Jimin, Jungkook, Jhope, V, Jin, Suga(Agust D). They have solo music as well.
