All the boys in 1D have special personalities that attract people. They are very polite and funny in interviews, very real and normal (they do not seem like just any famous person looking to attract attention). They all have an interview where they are most vulnerable and talk about issues that are important to them and to the world. I would love for you to see everyone, because it is quite surprising how "normal" and humble they are after having been so famous since they were young. Thanks for the videos!
I absolutely agree with you, Niall is honestly a very humble, genuine guy and very grounded. And whenever you hear anyone who has met him, talk about him, they'll always say how comfortable he is to talk with or hang around with and how easily they became his friend. He has such a fun personality that is easily likeable and I've noticed this many times that he has the ability to adapt to anyone's personality. For example, if you are a fan of a certain sport or a show or an artist, he will start talking to you about that, he basically makes you feel comfortable whenever you are around him. And his sense of humour is truly amazing, he can easily make you smile and laugh (not to forget that his laugh itself is very contagious). Um I would say the vulnerable side, Niall is not one to show it in interviews, especially not shorter interviews. He's vulnerable in like his instagram lives when he's talking about what situation inspired what lyric in the songs he wrote and stuff like that. Or in longer interviews, like the one he did with Zach sang, it's like 50 mins long and their you can see both his vulnerable and fun side very well.

It's not just the fans that adore him. Niall is adored by many other Celebrities. There are videos where celebrities get asked which other celebrity they are close to or which One Direction Member is thror fav and most of them always say Niall cuz he's just such a nice, down to earth guy.

I lived in London when One Direction was formed and became enormous. But, I was way too old to be into boy bands. Now, I have to say, I adore Niall. He’s the kind of guy you would have an amazing laugh with, in the pub. He has that British/Irish ability to take the mick for an extended time. It’s an art. Now, he’s also a brilliant musician and poet. He’s the kind of guy you want to see succeed. I completely agree on his humility and relatability. I’ve seen an interview with him where he talks about being bad at relationships because he’s a bad communicator (he says). He says that he expresses himself through his songwriting but often times, by then, it’s too late. He seems to be affable so I assumed he was an extravert but after hearing about how he bottles things up, I wondered if the humour is a facade for an introvert. Indeed, he's a bit cheeky, he's relatable but there is a debt to this guy not many can see just because they don't expect it from him. And with THE level of attention the band had you can imagine it wasn't easy for him. I'm sure they're all are so much happier to walk the streets freely not having people stalking them as it was during 1D active phase. I just love Niall's and Harry's personalities. It seems that fame neither got to their heads nor traumatized them as much as it could have (it was pretty bad for Liam and Zayn as I gathered). Harry, being kinda a-lister celeb, doesn't seem as caught up in it as some people try to picture him as. Niall, being at the same level, is just a guy you wish you had as a friend. And I like their witty humor, it's a bit dry sometimes but just makes it funnier when you get to know them more :) Louis Tomlinson seems to be the sweetest person but I guess he wasn't quite ready for this level of fame and still dismisses it, tries to fight with the side effects of it. He also had too much family tragedy in recent years to think he's totally okay yet. Comparing his earlier demeanor and current one, I just know he's been through a lot and it's natural that he's putting on a mask or two just as defense. I don't blame him. All the guys seem nice and down-to-earth, which is impressive for the level and the speed of success they had before they even were 20.

They're all around humble guys. Hmm. Of course he has a vulnerable side, I think all poeple do, but I think interviews in general is a really weird situation to be talking about really personal stuff or feelings, especially in a short interview like this one with someone you may have never met before. Niall was always the fun guy, the happy lad with no care in the world in the band. Overall he has carried that "image" with him albeit more mature and serious. I don't think he wants to be that vulnerable in interviews but you def hear it in his music. If you are doing the other boys then Louis and Liam also did this exact type of interview with answering the web questions. So I think they'll be a good comparison if you do the same type of interview. Louis is also one that used to be very sassy and "the jokester" in the band. But I think he's himself in that web interview. Louis also did an interview with Glamour Magazine UK that isn't too long where they touch on the subject of being vulnerable so maybe that would be of interest too? Louis has never liked to talk about too personal things in interviews either so he's very open there in my opinion. In general he tries to keep his life as private as possible but is pouring his heart out in his music. Niall also did an interview with that same Glamour Uk interviewer.

i feel like so many people misunderstand Niall and think that he is narcissistic, because of how he is on Twitter. People don't understand that what he shows on Twitter is just his sarcasm and Irish humour. What people miss is that he is actually very very humble, and treats everyone with a lot of respect 💖 He treats all his fans like they are his best friends. Never heard ANYONE ever say anything negative about Niall. Plus Niall is far from narcissistic. If you look at his more serious and vulnerable interviews where he actually gets very self-deprecating 😥 Like right now he literally didn't believe that people would still be interested in him, because he hasn't released music in 3 years. For example, you should see his interview with Zane Lowe, you can see how he was super nervous, and Zane tried to comfort him multiple times. Niall is a sweetheart.

something that i’ve noticed about niall just from being a fan for so long and also from what he’s said in an interview before, is that he’s not entirely vulnerable and he’s kind of just a classic irishman where he doesn’t really show too many outward emotions like that except for through his music

Indeed, he's a bit cheeky, he's relatable but there is a debt to this guy not many can see just because they don't expect it from him. And with THE level of attention the band had you can imagine it wasn't easy for him. I'm sure they're all are so much happier to walk the streets freely not having people stalking them as it was during 1D active phase.
I just love Niall's and Harry's personalities. It seems that fame neither got to their heads nor traumatized them as much as it could have (it was pretty bad for Liam and Zayn as I gathered). Harry, being kinda a-lister celeb, doesn't seem as caught up in it as some people try to picture him as. Niall, being at the same level, is just a guy you wish you had as a friend. And I like their witty humor, it's a bit dry sometimes but just makes it funnier when you get to know them more :)
Louis Tomlinson seems to be the sweetest person but I guess he wasn't quite ready for this level of fame and still dismisses it, tries to fight with the side effects of it. He also had too much family tragedy in recent years to think he's totally okay yet. Comparing his earlier demeanor and current one, I just know he's been through a lot and it's natural that he's putting on a mask or two just as defense. I don't blame him.
All the guys seem nice and down-to-earth, which is impressive for the level and the speed of success they had before they even were 20.

This was really sweet. And I agree with you. Niall is really lovely and so humble. All the boys are very grounded when you think about how they shot to fame and being teenagers at the time so yeah. They're all around humble guys.
Hmm. Of course he has a vulnerable side, I think all poeple do, but I think interviews in general is a really weird situation to be talking about really personal stuff or feelings, especially in a short interview like this one with someone you may have never met before. Niall was always the fun guy, the happy lad with no care in the world in the band. Overall he has carried that "image" with him albeit more mature and serious. I don't think he wants to be that vulnerable in interviews but you def hear it in his music.
If you are doing the other boys then Louis and Liam also did this exact type of interview with answering the web questions. So I think they'll be a good comparison if you do the same type of interview. Louis is also one that used to be very sassy and "the jokester" in the band. But I think he's himself in that web interview. Louis also did an interview with Glamour Magazine UK that isn't too long where they touch on the subject of being vulnerable so maybe that would be of interest too? Louis has never liked to talk about too personal things in interviews either so he's very open there in my opinion. In general he tries to keep his life as private as possible but is pouring his heart out in his music. Niall also did an interview with that same Glamour Uk interviewer.

i feel like so many people misunderstand Niall and think that he is narcissistic, because of how he is on Twitter. People don't understand that what he shows on Twitter is just his sarcasm and Irish humour. What people miss is that he is actually very very humble, and treats everyone with a lot of respect 💖 He treats all his fans like they are his best friends. Never heard ANYONE ever say anything negative about Niall. Plus Niall is far from narcissistic. If you look at his more serious and vulnerable interviews where he actually gets very self-deprecating 😥 Like right now he literally didn't believe that people would still be interested in him, because he hasn't released music in 3 years. For example, you should see his interview with Zane Lowe, you can see how he was super nervous, and Zane tried to comfort him multiple times. Niall is a sweetheart.
