kudos to the AO editor who managed to squeeze in a double replay for a fairly routine point - that's 20s out of 2:07 long [rather short] video wasted...WELL DONE 👏👏👏

Right? And how about the good folks at AO who don't give us any option for watching the full matches? We can't stay up to 3 a.m. to watch them, then they release 2 minutes of play time. It's like the tournament isn't even happening.

She is looking SHARP! The serve is potent with power & placement, she's hitting her angles, and when Naomi's moving to that backhand side, she's hitting these absurd angles to get her opponent out of position & opening up the court. I really wanna see her & Mugu go at it in the 4th round.

kudos Naomi is blowing these lower tier opponents away. It will get tougher as she proceeds but so far really great. Serve is much stronger than proceeding tourney, and forehand much more spin, and angles and movement to backhand a whole new day. But Garcia gave a lot of freebie points up. Mugu and Naomi will be her first big seeded challenge. When both of them at their best, Naomi wins. But let's see as they have both had really up days and down moments too.

Not sure about Osaka's outfit but everything else is looking good. She's the favorite of any hard-court tournament she enters, she's playing great and it looks like her head is in the right place. I'm a Bencic fan (who is a player that can give Osaka trouble, though they're on opposite sides of the draw) but I'll take Osaka to win the tournament.
