Have you used the Bose QC35?
I use the H9I (got the very nice pine color) for everyday and commuting while my Sony are for planes and when I need to wear my headphones for longer.
I have the h7 for 3 years now and tried the h9i today. The ear cups don't feel as soft and it doesn't feel like lamb skin
