She had a huge boxy jaw relative to zygoma cheek bone. Don’t know why they can’t nail the angle of the eyes either.
This is where I grew up! I’m so glad to see someone highlighting it, it’s been a mystery for a lot of the local people. Mammoth and it’s surrounding communities are small, everyone knows everyone so this hits home.
YES! This could be such a game changer if people would change their behaviors in that way. People are realizing how our nation is littered with dead bodies and people are getting away with murder far too often.
Yes. This seemed like an obvious threat especially with her reaching out. I ran a vacation rental and at one point I had two young German men with two girls (who I never saw). The men seemed to be a couple. It's known to many in Hawaii that German men in particular will go to the South Pacific and gather children for human trafficking and Hawaii is the route back. One of the few days they were there they were returning to the house and I happened to be out for a walk. I flagged them down to communicate something or other. They had rented a car with darkened rear windows and not a peep from the back seat. Their behavior seemed a little off- ish. ..they also didn't seem to be people who would be interested in anything rural. It wasnt until later that my suspicions grew. Maybe it was all on the up and up. Looking back tho with other observations with the clean-up and with a deep pit in my stomach, I wish I had been more inquisitive and tried to finese contact with the girls and taken further steps. They were long gone and I had no real evidence other than an unsettled feeling. I was in my role as hostess and should have allowed my attenae to venture beyond that in the moment. However I do feel that I have a protective streak and would have reported this situation with the woman reaching out! In Hawaii you do see some weird stuff. Ugly old men acquiring women from Asian countries and being authoritative with them. Ugh Once I saw a paunchy goat goading an Asian woman who didn't speak English well into playing in the surf. The shore break was certainly big enough to be dangerous especially if you don't know what you're doing. She was terrified. He obviously didn't know what he was doing either but made a big show of how funny it was to scare her. I gave him a piece of my mind but poor women....the scrapes they get into with these ugly insensitive men who seek out women who culturally don't stand up for themselves with the promise of a better life in the western world.
It’s also because people are afraid of getting sued if their not 100% right and that is said !! Even if someone is in a motor vehicle accident you have to be careful not to touch them or getting in legal trouble !!

What an amazing job by the employee at the Welcome Center. A lot of people visit Mammoth, so that employee was the first step in allowing the victim to regain her identity!
Rest in Peace Isabel 🙏. The technology that discovered her identity is amazing. I truly hope her killer will be punished and she will have justice. Excited about your trip in May Bryan. Please keep us posted. Stay well.
I’ve just discovered your channel! Your empathy for your subjects is so heartwarming. Hello from the middle of Virginia and thank you for what you are doing!
I agree 👍. You can certainly tell he really has a lot of compassion and empathy and really feels for the victim and their family very respectful and professional too. That's what drew me into the channel too!
@Ginger Walker. Just like you, Ginger, some time ago I "stumbled" onto this channel. I immediately felt Bryan's concern and compassion for the victims of crime and their families, aa well as for people who became lost in the wilderness and never made it back home. He always says a prayer for the ones who lost their lives, or are still missing, and their loved ones. I immediately subscribed and always look forward to Bryan's new videos. Using isotopes found within a body, deposited by drinking water, to discover so much about a person's place of origin and subsequent places of residence is simply groundbreaking! Modern technology is moving ahead by leaps and bounds. This was a fascinating video and I'm so glad Bryan shared it with us. Rest in peace, Isobel! 🙏🏼 Justice is being served!
What an exciting trip! I encourage you to be safe with publicly sharing a detailed plan of your trip. You never know the intentions that people may have.
Yes you’re absolutely right, never give up! I never thought in my life I would live to see some of these mysteries out there solved but I have, and I think families out there should always have hope. What you do is really great! Edit: please be safe out there!
The compassion and respect you display to the individuals highlighted in your videos is a very nice change from other videos I watch. Job very well done! A happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

WoW! this was sooo interesting! I wonder why the person to whom the victim told she was being mistreated did not do anything to help her. Our current technology is so amazing! Thank you for what you do Bryan! Great video! RIP Isabel🌹
Fascinating story. RIP young lady. Your life was brutally ended by that cruel looking man. That mugshot of him was really creepy. Thank god he’s been arrested

People working public facing jobs should be required to take training on what to do should they encounter an at risk individual. Great report and research ! There’s an interesting ‘missing’ in the Mammoth area. In 2013 , a schoolteacher Matthew Greene went missing while hiking/ climbing in the area, and no trace ever found. Someone found glasses that to me looked like his but they said later weren’t. Funny thing was, he had his Subaru in the shop being repaired and was staging out of a campground in town so they figured he had gone out locally because you can take a bus to the trailheads there ..
Looking at his face one could see straight away that he was a pos. Poor woman. I wish that at the store people would have been able to help her. RIP Isabel. Please keep us posted Bryan and thank you for putting Isabel’s name out there.
That's not how it works. Looks don't determine a person's personality. Millions of people look like him and are good people. Then there are hoards of serial killers who look handsome etc. There is a reason they say to not judge a book by its cover.
Amazing research and miraculous technology we’ve been blessed with, to make these discoveries!!!🙏🧡✌️ RIP Isabella, you will have justice!🕊🧡🕊 Prayers for family, during this time.🧡🙏🧡🙏🧡🙏
The eyewitness described that man so accurately, and I’m floored, his scratch was far more accurate than his tiny victim. I’m grateful for the advancement of forensic science. I pray you are at peace Isabel 💜 Thank you for sharing this story, I feel like I’m sitting in a room with you as you discuss these cases. BTW, when you drive out west from Virginia, (if coming from the Norfolk area) skip I-85 I just drove to Dallas TX, I went to pick up a family member in VA, drove out thru Arkansas, Tennessee, it was smooth, no issues at all. We came back thru NC to visit a relative, and I can 100% assure you THAT will never happen again! NC and SC on 85 was a construction zone a good 80% of the drive. We hit Atlanta at 3:30 and didn’t get to I-20 West, on the south side of Atlanta until almost 6:00pm. We were so weary by then, and traffic was still very heavy (I mean I know it was actually rush hour at that point lol) so we stopped and ate at the only non fast food spot, The Waffle House 😂 and tbh it was the first time I had a bad meal at the WH, ok, hope back on I-20 and things were finally flowing, albeit at 45 mph, I felt like a speed racer 😋 but the fun didn’t stop there. We rolled into Birmingham some time later, and a split was coming up, a left exit, and 20W, so I put my blinker on, observed a vehicle about 2-3 semi truck lengths behind me, and changed lanes. Apparently this triggered the driver of said vehicle, he floored it and tried to hit me before swerving to the left (keep in mind there were no other vehicles in any of the lanes between us) anyway, after they sped past us, the front passenger stood up out thru the window, so his body from the waist up was outside of the car, and he was flailing his arms, it took a second for me to realize he had a gun in one of his hands. So that was day one of our trip. Day 2 was great, Mississippi westward was smooth sailing.
Why didn't the clerk call police!?!? Makes me so angry and extreemly sad hearing these cases when the victim could obviously have been helped, every time i hear about a female being murdererd by a coward dirt bag and they lay out in the wilderness alone like that for so long just rips my heart out, no male ( refuse to call anybody that does this a man) should ever lay their hands on a female much less take their life, who gives them the right!!!??? Makes my blood boil!! Thank you to the team of investigators for not giving up on this young lady.
Isotope testing ...absolutely fascinating. Will look more into this type of science. Prayers go out the the victim's and perpetrators family. Thaks Brian for a job well done
Kindly please, find out what happened to the Asian female hiker that went missing in Big Iron Mountain early last year?. I thank you for all that you do. I appreciate it and enjoyed watching and listening to all of them.
Thank you Julie, that's very kind of you to say, but I don't need to be famous, I'm happy just being able to get these stories out there and hopefully help bring some home. Thank you for your kind words🙏
I lived in Mammoth lakes when this happened. We were all in shock. Mammoth is a small ski town with little to no crime. I’m glad to know they solved who she was. RIP
Oh wow!! I’m so glad they could @ least figure out her identity. Hopefully her loved ones have some answers. 🙏🏻 Amazing what they learned by the water. 😮
I have one you can check out. Its a very strange one. There was a Hiker by the name of Aylof Krost who in oct 1st of 2013 went missing from a hike with a group of Germans and two guides in the San Bernardino National Forrest . He went to a trail head called the Pinnacles trail off of Hwy 173. He was with a group of 20 or so people when he vanished. Apparently He took a rest while the rest of the group went a head going back to the parking lot trail head. One of the guides who was at the back of the hiking group found Mr Krost resting on a rock. Now this other guide was not feeling well or something to that manner and sat down by Mr. Krost. Mr Krost was feeling rested got up and headed back to rejoin the rest of the group leaving the guide behind. When the guide that was left behind felt better he proceeded back to the parking lot where it was learned that Mr Krost never showed up with the rest of the group. He was never seen again. A search was conducted and he was never found. Still missing to this day.
I heard this one in the missing 411 books and I’m close to those mountains I’m up there a lot. Very bizarre circumstances of how he went missing between the group and is still missing no evidence of him or any of his belongings were ever found. One thing I recommend to anyone hiking is do not go alone that seems to be some sort of factor in a lot of strange disappearances.

You might find it interesting that evidence of pregnancy is found on a part of the pelvis and is called partuition pit. The more vaginal births you have the more/deeper the pit marks are. Thanks for your story! I found the isotope study of drinking water super interesting. I'm glad Ms Sanchez was identified. Nobody should remain a Jane or John Doe.
In 2016 I traveled across country from st louis, mo to my new home here in Oregon....best road trip ever! Looking forward to seeing your planned itinerary. Smart decision to come out here to west coast in spring...summers are hot, dry and the wildfire smoke detracts from the beauty. Spring or fall is best time. Hopefully not too early in spring...you might have some issues traversing some of these mountain passes! I remember being shocked going to Crater Lake in early June and seeing how much snow was still on the ground! Some of the snow banks still reached the roofline of the one story buildings!! Anyway, be safe coming out here...these mountain passes are no joke with the snow, esp if you don't have a lot of experience driving in those conditions...and in unfamiliar territory. Hope to see you if southern Oregon is part of your trip. 🙂
Wow , amazing what they were able to discover just from the water she drank! I wonder why more doe cases don’t use this technique? So glad they were able to give her identity back and got the monster!
They use this in many cases, as well as in ancient bodies that are found, to locate where the people grew up. They can glean a lot of information from what particular elements are deposited in bones and teeth!
Excellent story. I'm going into the camping and hiking world for retirement fun. New hobby. I'm going to try and keep my eyes and ears open. Sometimes just seeing someone could help authorities link people to certain places at certain times. We can be the cameras in the woods.

Hey great videos I think what your doing is awesome and I love your videos. You really do a very profesional job with them. Thsnk you
Thank you so much for your kind feedback🙏🙏
@@bawattsyl its no problem telling the truth is easy. I try to comment like and share to help your channel. Thanks again for all your doing
The testing is incredible!!!
Not cheesy at all, that is actually very sweet! I think postcards would be fun!
Very interesting and informative. Thanks for honoring this life with your thoughtful video
The isotope testing is fascinating. It sounds like she was trying to ask for help to get away fron the guy. I wish someone had helped her.
Kindly please, find out what happened to the Asian female hiker that went missing in Big Iron Mountain early last year?. I thank you for all that you do. I appreciate it and enjoyed watching and listening to all of them.
Nice research...sadly many never get solved, like the 26 deaths surrounding a family gang out of Littlerock, Arkansas.
Peace
There are more than 26.
With many more coming probably
I love when a mystery is solved!
Poor lady. I'm glad they have him in custody. He looks so hard and mean. She never had a chance.
I hope you become famous I love your stories your very talented
Thank you Julie, that's very kind of you to say, but I don't need to be famous, I'm happy just being able to get these stories out there and hopefully help bring some home. Thank you for your kind words🙏
Love justice and perseverance and mostly the TRUTH, I Love the TRUTH !!!
RIP Isabel. Justice will finally be served.
How fascinating; let's hope this isn't needed very much, but they can tell the water you drank etc? WOW.
There was a baby that was murdered and left on a beach near me and it was the first time I ever heard of that testing.
@@itsmackenzie ...isn't it something, very interesting.
So happy to hear Isabel , Identity was found . May her family find peace.
Subscribed. Just came across your channel and I am glad. Great job! Bell on. Love the dedication to Isabel at the end. Classy.
Hey.wow...this is great news. Technology today is amazing science. Thanks for this video. God bless the family.🙏🙂😇
Still missing to this day.
very interesting!!
Weird. What is with these vanishing ones?
I heard this one in the missing 411 books and I’m close to those mountains I’m up there a lot. Very bizarre circumstances of how he went missing between the group and is still missing no evidence of him or any of his belongings were ever found. One thing I recommend to anyone hiking is do not go alone that seems to be some sort of factor in a lot of strange disappearances.
Wow. that is a very curious incident.. poor man. some of these disappearances r so odd... this one- has a 411 ring to it . great share.

how synchronous - i thought it sounded familiar. another Dave fan.
i think between these 2 {Brian&Dave} (just as example) we have a wonderfully insightful persective.
Great video. Also love how you did the subscribers stories in 1st person on Halloween. That was a great idea and look forward to seeing more videos like that along with the regular content. Great job 👏 👍
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! I wasn't sure at first how to do them but I just figured doing them in the first person would be the best way to convey their stories. Thank you so much for watching🙏
@@bawattsyl that was a neat idea. Something different. You don't see that being done . Merch idea: maybe a thin blanket /throw with a "patchwork" look but with missing person pic & info that are currently missing from national parks all over? Just a thought. Have a great week 😀
It's heart breaking to hear this young woman was killed by an evil monster.
I dont think most people get how many cold cases there are and how many murders are Never heard of or talked about. My brother being one, also others I've known through my life.
Denise I'm so sorry to hear about your brother🙏 if you'd like me to talk about his case, of course I'd do a video on him. But if course only if you wanted, I know everyone is different, but definitely let me know and we can talk. Either way I'm truly sorry for your loss🙏
So true. Very sorry for your loss.
Wow ..great work!
Those hikers who find human remains should be rewarded.
Its so sad about this young woman. Safe travels!!
I've always wondered how they could determine if someone had been pregnant or not? Do you know at what point those partuition pits occur?
@@mamacitabambi3558 , yes, during birth or when baby is in canal. Not sure about C section
@@jill6680 Oh, ok. I was wondering about C-sections. Either way, it's interesting how that happens. Thank you.
Great vid, 👍 look into Tenino Washington
Thank you and ok will do!
Good job to the effort! I'm so glad they solved it.
Awwww..... 💔💔💔💔 poor lady.....😔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Did you move to Oregon to take a new job? I know a couple, both teachers, who moved from Columbia, Missouri, to Oregon this year.
@@twistoffate4791 no. I moved to remove myself from an unhealthy relationship and to start fresh.
@@kneedeepinbluegrass3086 Excellent idea! I have always wanted to move to Oregon and start over.
What a great story. I love your channel Bryan.
Brain, you need a channel sticker for sure buddy . That would ba a great keeper.
Great story!
Excellent story. I'm going into the camping and hiking world for retirement fun. New hobby. I'm going to try and keep my eyes and ears open. Sometimes just seeing someone could help authorities link people to certain places at certain times. We can be the cameras in the woods.
Hey Bry thanks for your story's dude NY ses hey bro
Please PEOPLE be smart. Stay safe.
That’s amazing what technology can produce with that image! I hope her family can move on with a little closure. (just wanna say I got my calendar today in the mail and it’s AWESOME:)

Can't tell you how many times I have stayed at Shady Rest Campground...
It's always so crowded when I've been there, how would somebody kill and bury somebody in or near the campground when there is always so many people around? How did the bears not find the body before now?
Why did this fool stay in Mammoth all this time after the remains were found?
@@jamesreck8476the campground is closed during that time of year.
It’s so sad she lived such a sad life. Then be killed😣Rest in piece

Fascinating
I read online he was sentenced to 11 years for manslaughter. He deserves much more for what he did to her.
I've seen many of your videos by now, and I finally saw what you looked like, you are not only beautiful on the inside, but outside too. you look like a combination of the original superman and Tom Cruise. Not that any of those matters. and don't' worry I'm not a crazy stalker, I just think you are an amazing person. I've also seen some of the injuries you have sustained. I hope you are doing better and thank you for the person you are.
Definitely better late than never where murder is concerned, serves as a deterrent. Great ideas and merchandise from Bryan's mysteries , very enjoyable channel.
I cant wait to watch along that road trip! Let me know if you're going through Northern Illinois! Starved Rock!
All the technology we have today is amazing!!!
