- Two days after a Bengaluru woman alleged she was attacked by a Zomato delivery agent and shared videos showing her bleeding nose, there are two versions of a story that now involves an investigation and that has divided social media. The accused man, Kamaraj, says he was beaten with shoes and abuses were hurled at him, which the customer, Hitesha Chandranee, has emphatically denied. Zomato says it is supporting both, pending investigations, and wants "both sides of the story to come to light".

This is precisely why companies form policies. Zomato must be very clearly defining the policy that the employee can take action on the ground. Eg: escalation line for employee where manager can take action like item free or discount on next purchase, or explain policy etc. monetary closure is better than legal hurt.

@Shadab bengalore is one of the safest and nicest city. Most people are very warm and welcoming. May be you came across some rude people. I am a Hyderabadi living in bengalore for 4 years. Even I had both positive and negative experiences but for one bad experience I can tell you hundreds of good ones. Finally wheather it's hyderabad, bengalore, chennai, mumbai or delhi these cities are not a piece of land these are a group of people living together, a community and in that group there are all kinds (different mentality) of people.Please don't make generalised statements on a whole city based on few bad incidents you faced.

And another thing, he's not found guilty yet. But I wish he gets justice soon. Because when she made her first video showing her wound on her wrist, nothing was there. But she made another video and posted it and showed that she got wound on her wrist. Bangalore is flooded with North Indians and instead of making an attempt to learn the local language they assume everyone must know hindi and start talking in Hindi. Infact some of them are under a wrong notion that Hindi is a national language and everyone must know it, when actually there is no such thing as a national language. Hindi is just one of the official languages in India like Tamil, Telugu,Kanada or Bengali. Another irritating aspect about Northies is how they criticize south Indians on their skin tone, simple lifestyle, food habits (yes they make fun of how we eat our rice with hands) and the list goes on and on. While I am generalizing all the North Indians but my personal experience has been the worst with Punjabis who are so loud and have such a huge superiority complex for nothing. If the accused has any shred of evidence that the victim wasn't assaulted or is lying, we would have already seen it. Right now all we have is testimonials from both parties. In majority of such cases the victim will win, since she has a bruise to show that, she has the receipt of the order and also the testimony from the customer service. The guy will hang if it goes to court. I'm not saying she's right. I'm saying that's how it is. Justice is easier to look from a layman's perspective, but when lawyers will battle it, the accused will lose.
